Apparently, Carpenter is having all the nerves removed from his right arm, having them preserved on ice and will display them in his living room.

He's got a fetish with keeping his own body parts as souvenirs.

Not sure if my right leg is getting longer or you're just pulling it...

How will he keep the ice from melting?

That's not the question that needs to be asked. The question is how will he explain to his kids what happened to his arm?

I hope he explains it in his suicide note before he jumps off a bridge.

I hope they strip his MVP

So much bullshit when he won that appeal on a technicality

He's Chris Carpenter. He'll figure it out. BTW, I was just kidding. Carpenter did remove a rib that caused him issues with his delivery and kept it on display in his home.

The guy is a good pitcher, and being someone who does some strange things myself, I can respect his uniqueness. Still though...the guy is strange.

I still don't think he juiced though. Usually when stop taking roids there is a huge drop off. And considering Braun put up almost identical numbers the past year, it's almost hard to think he's guilty.

He was roiding..the fucking test came back positive for steroids. He just didn't get "caught" because of a technicality (something about the guy who administered the test was supposed to fedex the results the same day, but the fedex store was far away and there was a storm or a snow storm or some shit and he couldn't get there.)

ESPN reported King Felix and the Mariners have agreed to a 7 year $175 million dollar extension.

The Rays had better start fielding offers for David Price now.

Somewhere Scott Boras has popped a massive Rod dreaming about the extension he will ask for when Strasburg comes up for free agency in the next few years.

This deal has blown the doors off the market for high end pitchers salaries.

What will Verlander be looking for?

It came up positive with 5x the amount of testosterone ever recorded. I dk I just find it hard to believe he took them

David Price won't be a Ray for much longer. And that pains me to say it. But they'll get a good return for him and start over again with a new crop of prospects. They've always been good at selling high when it comes to pitchers (Kazmir, Edwin Jackson, Shields).

Probably something similar and he will get it. Mr Illitch will not close the checkbook and why should he? Ticket demand is insane and his team owns the city

Mariners finalized the deal with Felix and protecting themselves against injury. Signed Joe Saunders and Jon Garland.

I'm excited for this season.

I know we have a few guys who live somewhere other than Ohio. Anyone ever purchase MLB.TV? I'm a Mariners fan and don't get a lot of coverage here in Columbus. I looked to pay for it monthly, but I didn't see the option.

My buddy in Chicago is a Giants fan and has mlb.tv. Loves it. I don't think there's a monthly option, unfortunately.

I live In pa and I used it last year. My brother in Arkansas bought it and I knew his email and pw so I used his lol. I love it. Works pretty damn good on an iPad or through a gaming console. I had pretty good picture on my phone also. If you have a buddy who will split the cost with it it's a great idea

Bought my 6 game ticket plan today for the Tigers. Lower Bowl just past the dugout, two seats for games against NYY, ATL, CLE, LAA, PHI and CWS. Can't wait:thumbup:

MLBTV is the best if you are out of market and want to watch your team. Its relatively expensive, but if you will be able to watch most of them, its well worth it.

If you do the app version, still in hd, think its only 99 or 129. Worth it. You can watch on your ipad, phone or gaming device. I love it

There was a monthly option two years ago, I think it was 24.99 a month. I went that route because I got a ps3 in July and didn't want to pay the full 125 for 3 months. Kind of surprising they wouldn't offer that again. Has the 2013 app been released? I looked earlier this week and it hadn't.
