Well that was cryptic and odd. We're looking into all possible backgrounds on joint ownerships, liens, back taxes (as a rental), inspections, etc. The house is on par with houses in the area of the same size.

Not sure why you think we shouldn't buy a house, given that, as you say, you don't know me. Since I haven't given you the location of the property beyond the general location, I'm not sure what you can claim to know about the house.

Having said all that, I'm certainly willing to hear you out. Why ought I not buy a house?
