Kansas vs Kentucky. I think Syracuse has looked very very good thus far as well, and I'll keep my preseason Final Four pick of Purdue in there.

Kansas winning it all. I haven't been overly impressed with any teams thus far though. I think there are more very good teams this year than there were last year but no teams that are just special. Whoever wins, I think they'll be the weakest champ since 2002 or 2003. Not knocking any if the teams, just my opinion.

I have to go with UK with Texas close behind; I might change my mind after tonight if Texas beats Michigan St.

I think UK gets upset in the tournament. Not sure why yet but I am thinking they will not make the Final Four.

Kentucky is probably the most talented. But I've learned that no matter how good, one's youth will be shown in the tourney. I also don't think they make the final four. I'm not sure who does yet. Too lazy to do a bit of research.

I think Texas, Kansas and Kentucky have clearly set themselves up as the top 3. A host of teams can all make a claim for that last spot. Purdue, Syracuse, WVU, as much as it pains me to say but Duke, Carolina could still get back in the hunt. Who knows. Plus who knows if the bracket will set up for even those 3 to be in the final four. Maybe whoever finishes second in the big 12 gets the 2 seed in kentucky's region

I like Kentucky. Cal, no matter what anyone thinks of him, simply gets it done in March -- and he also has one hell of a talented team to take him there.

Kansas and Texas are the two other Final Four "locks" IMO. By locks I mean one of them will get beat in the Sweet 16 or sooner. It's almost always how it works. For that team, I'd say it's Texas. But, here in the early, early season, I like the three aforementioned teams.

I'd like to add Syracuse as my fourth Final Four team. I don't think they'd truly challenge for the title once in the Final Four -- I could see them losing by doubles to Kansas or Kentucky -- but they are certainly talented enough to make a run to get there.

i am not as quick to jump on the Texas bandwagon. I have reservations about their ability to score in tight ball games. Carolina plays limited defense, so the 103 wasn't that great of an achievement. The Michigan State game is a better indicator of where Texas really is, and there were some real stretches in the game where they couldn't generate offense. They are number one in offensive efficiency, but I see that changing.

That being said, they got the job done at home. They are probably a team capable of a Final Four for sure.

I still like Michigan State to make it to Indy, as well as Kansas, West Virginia, and Syracuse

The 4 best teams I have watched so far this year:

1. Texas
2. Kansas
3. Kentucky
4. Syracuse

I have watched the top 3 about 6 times each, have a pretty good read on them. Syracuse only for a game and a half though...

Purdue, Michigan State and Ohio State will be in the thick of things. There might also be another Big 10 team people are sleeping on.

For a national title, probably not. Can't even say anything more until we see how Turner comes back.

Ohio State isn't deep enough in the post to make a final four run

Turner could likely lead them to the sweet 16 or elite 8 when healthy though
