WTF is wrong with some people

C'mon, people, I love dogs as much as anyone but how about save your money for needy people?

It begs the question if this was really even a humane course to go. You'll never see a FB campaign for someone looking for help to pay to have a dog put to sleep.

So, in summary this bleeding heart finds a dog literally on death's door, takes it to a vet and authorizes expensive procedures she can't afford. But AHA! Go to FB and beg for donations.

By the way, if you want to pay for Obamacare then how about a 100% surtax on people that throw their money away on pet insurance?

If people want to donate to save a dog that's their business, I don't give a shit.

That's a fair point, but it's idiotic financial decisions like this that create "hardships" that necessitate higher taxes on the makers and doers.

It's because people like animals more than they like human beings.

With a very small number of exceptions, count me among that group.

I'm in this group...and I have zero use for an animal.

I spent almost $5,000 to save my dogs.

I'm ashamed of myself. :(

I dont give a fuck about most people or animals. As for this girl if people want to donate money to help out her stupid decision than that is their choice.

I find it easier and cheaper to put them down myself.
I will never take a loan etc...to keep or get a dog. I eat first then they eat.

Meanwhile...how many dogs are destroyed in shelters each year and they spent $5000 to save some random dog they found on the street?

Nobody came to you or anyone else for that matter asking you to do anything. She created a Facebook page and people took it upon themselves to donate.

In my home, my dogs are just like family. I'm going to do whatever means necessary for them.

So this dog shouldn't have been saved because other dogs are put down?

Just don't donate. If idiot people donate, it'll fit the mold.

This video makes me want to punch someone in the face. Such a waste of money to help animals over humans.

Humans can try to get themselves out of the shitholes they've put themselves into, animals don't really have that option. A dog can't find a job to put a roof over his head or feed himself like the homeless guy under the bridge can.

And yes, I'm aware not all people can do something about the problems they are having, but a lot can. I do agree those commercials and organizations suck though.

I find it worse when dogs are left out when its 90 and no water or 9 and frozen water.

I pretty much despise animals(unless they're cooked right), but I have no problem with this. Not something I would donate to, but to each their own.

It was already suffering. The humane thing was to put it down..use the money to go save a perfectly healthy dog at the pound in line to be put to sleep.

Which is fine if you can afford it. But I'd have to be making like half a mill to piss away $5k on a doggy doctor.

Maybe I'd feel differently if they lived for 30 or 40 years, or if I felt literally being scared shitless and not knowing what's going on was a remotely humane thing to subject them to.

Yes, the humane thing was to put it down, yet, it's still alive and recovering now. That makes sense.
