Thats the exact thing as 08 draft. Shaun Rogers, the DE from GB, Shaun Smith, Brady uinn. That was "essentially" the 08 draft.lhslep134;1435028 wrote:Considering that two of the players listed are known commodities, and have produced already in the league, I'd say it's already a distinguishable and better situation.

Jesus coa what happened to you? Have you always been this negative and I just haven't noticed?
You bash everything just because you think you're right. I remember you giving me shit for being negative but I only bashed one player (Weeden) not every fucking thing a BRAND NEW regime does.
Give it a rest will ya

Redskins took both the safeties I liked for the Browns in this years draft. Thomas of Fresno St. could have started for us this year.

Browns take Armonty Bryant. I have no idea who that is. DE from a school I've never heard of either. Was hoping for Jordan Poyer, who the Eagles took 1 pick later.

Evidently, he had 27.5 career sacks in college?Mulva;1435039 wrote:Browns take Armonty Bryant. I have no idea who that is. DE from a school I've never heard of either. Was hoping for Jordan Poyer, who the Eagles took 1 pick later.
The video on NFL.com makes him appear kind of dopey in the way he runs and moves.

Next year already? ok I will play. Lombardi trades 2 3rd rounders for 2 second rounders in 2015. Value just wasnt there.

I would love Kevin Riddick with our last pick here. I had no idea he was still on the board.

LOL, the value of 3rd rounders is a little different than the value of 5th and 6th rounders. As others have said, we're not going to shock the world this year. Let's just hope for some improvement and that we can make something with our 6 picks in the first 4 rounds next year.Mr Miyagi;1435043 wrote:Next year already? ok I will play. Analysis from Mayock:
Round 7, Pick 11 (217) (From Dolphins) | Armonty Bryant | DE | 6'4" | 263 | East Central (OK) | 61.0 | |
Pick Analysis: "That's one of my favorites. He's got an explosion to him. I thought he was worth the risk, and apparently so did the Cleveland Browns." -- Mike Mayock |

The Burfict of this year. A bunch of teams probably took him off of their boards entirely because of the character issues. Who really cares once you get to the 6th-7th? Take a shot.CLEconomically Speaking;1435047 wrote:Is da'rick rodgers really still on the board? this is the strangest draft ever..

Browns finish off with Garrett Gilkey. Another small school guy. Tackle at Chadron St, looks like he's projected to be a guard in the league.

Was bray still on the board? Don't see why they wouldn't take a shot in the dark at him

Bray's still there. With Da'Rick. Tennessee coaches must have just torched those guys when teams came asking.SportsAndLady;1435056 wrote:Was bray still on the board? Don't see why they wouldn't take a shot in the dark at him

He is still available. They must be confident in Weeden as their man. Not to mention, we already have 3 QB's under contract. They must be happy with what they've got.SportsAndLady;1435056 wrote:Was bray still on the board? Don't see why they wouldn't take a shot in the dark at him

Doubt they're happy with Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden. Probably just don't believe their QB of the future is in this draft.

They're comparing Da'Rick Rogers to Greg Little. Not a good route runner, stops routes early if not the primary target, on-field body language can be defeating, on-field effort can be less than desirable, doesn't fight to get open.Mulva;1435058 wrote:Bray's still there. Jury is still out on Weeden. However, if he can't produce in THIS system with Norv's vertical offense, then he never will. How many QB's of the future have been found in the 7th round anyways?SportsAndLady;1435064 wrote:Doubt they're happy with Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden.
