All-time for me....

1. FRIENDS
2. Fresh Prince
3. Coach
4. Saved By the Bell
5. Cheers
Pretty good list. Watched and enjoyed all of those shows except for Friends. I am pretty sure I have never watched a full ep of it.
I would have to add in Married with Children,.

Funny thing about cheers....the first season or two they were so lowly rated that if they came out today and got the ratings they did...they would get cancelled probably before the season was over

I don't get the entertainment value of the fake reality shows.

I'll update my list from 2+ years ago, and split comedy and drama:
1) Seinfeld
2) HIMYM
3) Married with Children
Well, nothing else I've watched (so no All in the Family, no 30 Rock) comes close to the standard of the above 3. Early seasons of some stuff like Simpsons, BBT and 2.5 Men were hilarious, but later seasons fell off badly. They ruined BBT when they turned it into "Friends with nerds".

1) GOT
2) The Shield
3) Breaking Bad
4) The Wire
5) The Americans*
Too many bad/slow/dull episodes and/or seasons for Boardwalk Empire, Sopranos and Lost. I don't consider dramas where episodes are mostly independent, such as SVU (not that it would make my cut, anyway). Not sure if they'd make my list, but honorable mention to Rome and Deadwood, which had too short of runs to be considered.

1. The Cosby Show (Mainly the earlier stuff. Things got weird late in the run.)
2. Survivorman (Pretty much every episode DV-R'd, and I watch an episode a day.)

I used to really dig...
3. Seinfeld
4. Friends
5. Saved By The Bell (I know, I know. I have issues. Whatevs.)

I rarely watch TV. When I do, it's Survivorman. Unless The Cosby Show is on. Or NCAA wrestling, of course. But that's not a TV show.

You know which one I forgot was Mad Men. I believe that and Game of Thrones have the two best stories on television

Hey snot, if you have nothing better to do between your miss OC contest, set one of these up for the chatter.
99 characters and not a single one from Lost? Jack, Sawyer, Locke, and especially Benjamin Linus would all be worthy choices.

As soon as I saw I had to click on all 99 separetly, closed the page. Fuck that.

However, to not have Ben Linus/Sawyer/Locke is a jock, when the only one I click on was Tammi Taylor from FNL.

I skimmed that list and it's pretty obvious there's some sort bias in the ranking. Kind of like looking for NFL insights at Bleacher.com. Yahoo tv staff? I'm guessing they're neither particularly critically experienced nor a representative cross-sample of viewers. There's the obvious, ignoring ranking, and then the WTF? which is pretty clearly Sally's favorite show that most people don't watch, but it makes the list because this is just 5 idiots talking around the coffee pot.

Benjamin Linus is easily a top-5 or top-10 character and anyone who disagrees never watched Lost.

Linus was #36, way too low.

Hence why I thought it would be interesting to have a poll on here.
