Not really sure how you can say he was overrated in college. I agree the Tebow love gets old but I don't really get the hate either. He was a damn good college football player who had a lasting impact on the game as the first bruising, single-wing type back that we have seen in the modern era. He never really was a quarterback as the term is presently used. He was today's version of a single-wing tailback. He does the best he can in the NFL that does not see the utility of a single-wing tailback beyond a few plays here and there. It is not his fault he gets so much unnecessary fawning attention anymore. He handles it with grace and humility despite the fact that a lot of it is due to trolls who take pleasure in seeing him fail.Tiernan;1350215 wrote:Has the career of the most overrated player in both CFB and NFL history finally come to an end? Oh I'm sure some other dumbass organization (yeah Jax that's you I'm talking about) will probably give this future "Christian Inspirational Speaker" another chance but I think the rest of us finally kno for sure what we always knew...he sucks.
One more thing...HTF does Rex Ryan still have a job this morning?
I suspect we're going to have to listen to Tebow love for a little while longer even if he doesn't last much longer in the NFL.
