Has the career of the most overrated player in both CFB and NFL history finally come to an end? When you get picked over to lead even the lowly Jets the hand writing is on the wall.

Oh I'm sure some other dumbass organization (yeah Jax that's you I'm talking about) will probably give this future "Christian Inspirational Speaker" another chance but I think the rest of us finally kno for sure what we always knew...he sucks.

One more thing...HTF does Rex Ryan still have a job this morning?

Is he really overrated if there are at least 2 other QBs on his own team ahead of him?

The only reason Jacksonville wants him is the hopes of selling more tickets and jersies.

Do you really think he has been praying all these years?

This was just practice for his final bow into obscurity....

Calling the people in front of him "QBs" is a stretch.

That makes my point. If as bad as they are they are still ahead of Tebow, I don't know how he can be looked at as overrated.

I agree, just a passing observation.

Sad thing is people here will pack the stadium for Tebow. Jax would be smart but my question is how long will they pack it when they realize they still aren't winning?

I honestly think they brought him there to ruin his career.

3-4 weeks?

People will only pay for a poor product for so long. Especially with parking and food factored in. Much more convenient to stay home and watch it on the big screen

What if he goes to another team and starts winnings games. I mean even 8-8 in jax would be a huge improvement

I'm not sure the Tebow brand has ever been so bad. He can't play QB for the terrible NYJ, who doesn't have a QB and then today "Teammate" Tim Tebow says he doesn't want to play in the Wildcat.

I'd think he would just shrug his shoulders. Can't be much worse than Gabbert can he? Of course since Henne has been in, Blackmon and Shorts have picked it up a little

Seems like he's hyped for exactly what he is...a player who is polarizing because of his personal beliefs that has the ability to provide a short term spark to a team but isn't talented enough to be the long-term solution.

The Christian Radio Sports Network will make him their primetime anchor. Which means he will be broadcasting SEC games, NASCAR and all the regional hog calling championships.

Overrated college players? Haha. Overdiscussed and overcovered NFL player, yes, overrated? Nobody ever rated him that high...

I don't know why you wouldn't go after him? The money you make on his apparel would be absolutely unreal

He was a really good college player that played with a great team with a great head coach.

Where Tebow made his mistake...thinking he could play that position in the pros.

Just like Terrell Pryor, Tebow could do well in switching positions...for him maybe a Lawrence Vickers type guy. Maybe a tight end or possibly a linebacker.

There have been a number of college quarterbacks that did great in the pros...all pro style...in another position. The first one that comes to mind is Nolan Cromwell. The Colts of the 70's had an all pro college quarterback in their secondary...can't think of his name.

Tebow is nowhere near Chad Henne's level, and that's saying something.

He's not overrated by people who work in Pro Football, he's certainly overrated by many fans, and has probably the most skewed ratio of talent:media coverage in the history of professional athletics.

I'd disagree about most fans overrating him. I mean there weren't very many who felt he was actually a good player. That was the minority. The majority seemed to be doubters of his game regardless of whether they liked him or not.

This is a good way of putting it.
