I definitely agree with that, shurmur didn't do a God damn thing to help either of our first rounders. I just disagree that shurmur was the reason Weeden wasn't good. I don't think Weeden would be good even with Jim harbruagh as our HC. He misses wayyyy too many easy throws to claim a coach put him in that position.

A coach also didn't put him in the position to have 21 passes knocked down a the LOS either. Weeden has a lot of flaws that need fixed just to be a mediocre QB.

Big reason for a lot of the batted down passes comes from the terrible 3 step drop play calls. When the def knows the fucking play before hand they can easily anticipate the throw. lolfail on not knowing that. Patty boy sucks, plain and simple.

On top of that there is no threat of a run, ESPECIALLY when dumbass shurmur takes trich out on third down. It is beyond me why he would take out the threat of the run and advertise that the team is going to pass.
