That's common sense. And if made a law, there is no way to enforce it.

I know, just throwing out thoughts. I'm not saying take away peoples guns, but maybe the amount they own and how they are stored could be regulated. Might be too costly to say "if you own a gun, you're subject to random checks to ensure storage safety"

gosh a ruddies you are the kind of person who would compare death from eating, smoking and drinking, all personal choices, with the slaughter of 20 6 and 7 years by a vegan wielding a legal assault weapon. have you no shame.

Since when is it legal to kill your mother and steal her guns? What was legal about the way he went about obtaining them? Nothing. What does he eat have to do with ANYTHING? Nothing.

Was it not a personal choice for him to slaughter those people? Seriously, fuck you. Is there a subject you won't troll?

i am not the guy who could not tell the difference between death of an adult caused by a personal choice to abuse food, tobacco or alcohol. And the death of 20 small children slaughtered by 3 to 11 bullets a piece fired from a gun legally bought and brought into the killer's home by a mom who trained him to be a marksman. interesting value system you have.
the 20 children made no personal choice to be slaughtered despite the argument you make.

so what does this have to do with him being a vegan? oh, how did he legally obtain the weapon? Since when is it illegal to go to a gun range? Maybe the mother should have recognized her child needed help. Maybe the father should have been there too.

Mentioning alcohol, food, and tobacco is to show guns aren't as big an issue.

are you serious, they just slaughtered 20 small children. Despite your obvious indifference that makes it an issue of the first order. it was not a personal choice of those children to be slaughtered.
obviously it is quite legal to go to a gun range and become proficient in the skills necessary to slaughter children. maybe we should do some checking on who is obtaining those skills.

I agree with this - but you duck my other questions cause you're weasel. You switch arguments and twist points when you get called out for being wrong.

what does being a vegan have to do with it? NOTHING. Did he obtain a weapon legally? NO. Did adults in the situation do everything they could to protect those kids? YES. But you're not going to prevent these things from happening by just banning guns. What if he blew the school up in stead? What if he got in and hacked kids up with a knife?

Schools need security in place to prevent this, because you're not going to stop a crazy person from hurting people.

Let's ban alcohol while we're at it! All those people who were killed by drunk driver didn't choose to be.

gosh a ruddies, vegan is just a fact about him, like having a weird haircut. the gun was brought into the home legally, he could have killed all those children without killing his mother. Much more difficult to kill with a knife especially when there was a quick police response as there was in this situation. And gosh his mom did not get him bomb making training, or knife wielding, she made his a marksman.

lol because none if this can be found on the internet right? You can't stop an insane person from hurting someone. He was going to hurt people at that school one way or the other. You trolling this and being a media puppet saying "guns are the problem" makes you an ignorant piece of shit.

This is doubtful in my opinion. He apparently was trained to shoot weapons designed to kill by his delusional doomsday prepper mother. He's insane and had ready access to weapons that could further his criminal purpose. There's no reason to believe that this apparently special-needs child could have, in the alternative, assasinated 27 people with a less efficient murder weapon or conspired to create a bomb or something.

If his mom isn't delusionally stocking her house with tactical weapons that he gets his hands on I doubt sincerely that this Lanza kid is a mass murderer.

Absolutely no reason for a private citizen to have an assault rifle.

that you don;t know, what is obvious and what happens again and again is not a bomb or knife being used to slaughter the innocent but guns. go back 80 years and find a bomb used to kill students, heck they tried to use pipe bombs at Columbine, no success, but slaughtered with assault rifles. You have alot of mass murders by knife attack in the US, no but guns again and again with your endorsement.
