Really stupid comments. Not sure what would possess someone to go on national television and say something like that.

Also Stephen A gets a lot of hate, but one thing I like about him is he doesn't unnecessarily play the race card and is much more level headed about these kinds of things than others seem to be. Anyone catch his whole take?

It was nice to hear Smith basically say everything parker said was out of line and basically saying he should be embarrassed.

I love the show, its entertaining. The last few times parker has been on the show have been embarrassing and I really don't want to see him on first take anymore.

You're damn right Stephen A wasn't comfortable with where that was going. He probably heard the robot from Lost in Space yelling "warning warning warning" that whole time.

Which gave him pause, because that's not something an Uncle Tom would do. But white fiancee and registered Repub = check.

I'm a white dude...sounds like he IS one of "us". I didn't continue listening - is RGIII really black or does he just have a killer tan?

I guess I should use proper grammar.

I was paraphrasing what Parker said..."He's not one of us". Imagine the outrage if a white guy said RG3 isnt one of "us"

Did ESPN put Rob Parker up to that??? It's so ridiculous that I'm having trouble believing that someone actually feels that way. Wow.

Rob Parker continues to make race the main issues. He's one of the worst that the media has to offer. And in regard to Stephen A., he gets a bad rap because he's loud and opinionated, but I listen to him a lot via his radio show and I saw his clip from this segment and I will say Stephen A. is pretty level headed and I'm generally a fan of his.

Rob Parker brings everything back to race. Everytime I see or hear him he brings up race. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he is a closet racist. Not surprised at all.

On a side not the girl from First Take is fine, fine, fine!!! Mmmm.

I don't know why ESPN continues to let him on air.

He has had a bunch of these dust ups, and it is not like he is compelling TV to warrant the continued 2nd chances he has gotten.

Just get him out of there already.

and people wonder why the AA community has so many issues, anytime some black person is successful, be it playing football or getting an eduction or what have you, they aren't "black" enough. What a wonderful idea to send to the inner city youth in this country.
