Not that I'm aware of, but he could have waited until the last day.

Barry Smith would be a great hire.

Assistant Coach at Smithville for ten years, one of those a state runner up finish, worked with quarterbacks and receivers a lot. I believe six league championships while he was helping with the Smithies.

He truely cares about the kids and there are very few players that don't respect how he coaches and treats people. A good man.

He's doing just fine at London, building that program into a fine 4-6 team year after year.:@

As long as he's "winning the 4th quarter", that's all that matters...

I heard that Nolan Mackey applied for the position and have heard from a few players that they have a lot of respect for him and his passion for the WH program.

Kevin M. is getting treated very well at Madison and would be surprised to see him leave that situation. Also, I'm sure many people would not agree with having Dennis come back to West Holmes....ever.

It was a joke. I'm from Wooster, and even I wouldn't agree with Dennis coming back!

Mr. 3000??? My baseball days ended years ago, but I'm pretty sure I never reached that milestone of 3000. Close to it, but not quite.

Maybe they'll be naming me football and band coach. Save the district some $$$$$

A list of 42 names on the application side of things. Some surprising names appeared. They'll be narrowing it down to the final five, and should release that list to the public. Then we can debate things more.

Some interesting names on the list, and a few surprises as well. Should lead to a very spirited debate when they announce the final 5.

Just saw the list of 5. Jed Clampet, Mr.300, Barney Fife, Bozo the clown, and Shaggy. Of course, Shaggy is the odds on favorite as I hear he actually has offensive coordinator experience. lol
