Throwing the coach under the bus? Thought Weeden was better than that. Imagine Smith getting groomed by Kyle Shannahan, much like he has done with RG3 this year. Obviously Geno doesnt have RG3's speed, but still.

Weeden played like shit, but patty boy did nothing to help him that is for sure. That play calling was so damn predictable. Not talking about any single game. After his first game, he actually looked mediocre instead of horrible. Cinci games come to mind. This game reminded me of the Giants game. The team just completely collapsed. They legit quit after that Weeden int to start the 2nd half.

Shurmur has nowhere near the resume Shannahan has. Shurmurs offense ranked 26th in the NFL in ppg. LOL.It was a terrible hire by the Browns. Shannahan is only 33, so he would be like Lane Kiffin/Josh McDaniels level young as a first time head coach.
He might be ready, but it will be a risk to whoever takes the leap. He has the bloodlines though.
