Garbage is not ranked 2nd in the nation in total QBR. Nor is garbage projected (usually) to be taken top 10.

All of those would be an upgrade over Weeden, which makes it worth it.

Lol if you think Murray is any good. He was terrible vs any good d he played. He played ok vs bama and that's it. Has no arm strength he's 6'0 he's a worse version of McCoy.

2 bad games means somebody is not good. got ya.

Maybe we should stick to the guy with arm strength and is big, thats working out real well.

He's 1-13 vs top 25 teams. So basically anytime he faces a decent defense.

Just got back in.

Thank God Shurmur has been exposed, and Joe Banner can now get rid of him without having to listen to Cleveland fans complain about it like we gave up on the next coming of Bill Walsh.

Now that it's settled he's gone I don't really care who on the roster stays or goes from Weeden on down. We have some good pieces.

The most vital thing is that next year we will have a coach that gives us a fighting chance, and I don't think many of you understand how big a difference that will really make on how everyone on this team plays.

Exactly Murray is a worse McCoy. No arm, short. At least McCoy could win big games in college

I'm not a Shurmur fan, but he has nothing to do with Weeden getting balls batted down, and holding on to the ball way too long.

NOBODY made Shurmur out to be the next Bill Walsh. Just STFU with your idiotic cheap shots geared toward NOBODY.

True, but for fucks sake, shurmur did nothing to open up that play calling. I legit felt like Shurmur was calling the same 5 plays over and over.

A special edition of the Rizzo show is coming up on Fox to anyone in the Cleveland viewing area. He should be in rare form today I would suspect.

You would lose that bet big time.

still shaking my head at how the redskins qb, who was making his first nfl start and was drafted in the fourth round, completely outclassed the browns qb, who was making his 14th nfl start and was drafted in the first round.

that weeden pick is going to haunt this team for some time

Lol you could not have been more wrong..Russell has 4 TDs and it's not even halftime.

Yet if he were on the Browns, he wouldn't have been able to do anything against that 28th ranked defense today.

It was bad..but I doubt it haunts them. Just have to move on, it was a bad pick; wash your hands of it, and go after the next one. What we CAN'T do is stick with him or get a FA average QB that'll try and win us 8 games every year.

I still think there is a lot of talent on this team. Just needs to be coached properly, and we need a freakin draft pick QB that won't bust out.

i just don't know what qb that would be from this year's draft class. i'd have my doubts of spending a first rounder on any of them. third round? sure

Shurmur did absolutely nothing to help Weeden today. Piss poor playcalling and abandoned the run. POS patty fuckhead.

also you guys can stfu about drafting a qb in first round. Not going to happen, nor is there one worth a first.

Weeden in the post game for the first time tried to explain the batted ball epidemic by saying that essentially all they throw is short crossing routes, and that teams are just waiting back to get their hands up since they can't get to him.

I'm glad this whole Patty shit can be laid to bed. He's gone. lolfail at everyone buying in because we won 3 games and forgetting the horrible BS we've had to watch over the last 2 seasons. One thing became abundantly clear to me when watching this, Patty Derpmur doesn't but his players in positions to do well. Redskins had roll outs, RUNNING the fucking ball, some imagination on offense and WRs running actual routes.

Patty dipshit ran about the same 3-5 plays all fucking game. Refused to run the ball, didn't put weeden in any shotgun, movement, roll outs, etc... WRs were running slants and curl routes all damn game. About as vanilla as it gets. I found myself almost hoping for Mo Carthon to come back. That was just flat out pathetic display by Patty boy.
