Miles is better than everyone in the B1G except Urban is the point.

I guess we'll see after he gets blown out against Clemson, an ACC school.

here's what I don't get... Why the fuck would they want Bielema? I can see why he'd leave (better conf, more $, better weather, loose interns...), but from an Arkansas perspective, do you really think this is the answer? From everything I've heard about him, no one (on his staff) likes him (Chryst took like everyone with him to Pitt) and the reason he went to the last to Rose Bowls are because OSU was down one year and out (technically) another. He can't recruit (1 top ESPN 300 guy this year IIRC).

It's all smoke and mirrors with him. I just don't get it. He'll be gone in 3 years. Book it.

You're prolly right, but LSU has more talent than almost everyone in the B1G, so it's all relative. I think he's a good coach, but certainly not a great one, a category in which I'd include Meyer, Saban, and Bill Snyder, to name a few.

Zero chance. The B1G has a few match ups against the SEC East.

I think UM could hang with SCAR, and Nwestern could surprise... but they all probably lose. If the B1G wins 2 I'd be shocked.

I'd love to see it, but I sure as hell wouldn't bet on it.

So basically the reason they went last year is because they were the best team. Those bastards!

Wrong, everyone knows Kirk Ferentz is the best coach in the B1G!

2 of the 3 wouldn't have happened had Tat-Gate not happened. But yea, they were the "best team"

At the same time they're saying Strong is negotiating a contract extension in Louisville...http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8714108/louisville-cardinals-working-extension-charlie-strong-according-sources

I do think he will fall on his face, but the one thing he has going for him is that he is used to getting scraps at recruiting and turning them into B1G titles and Rose Bowl appearances.

My buddy here swore to me last week that Louisville would pay as much as 6mil a year to keep him. They won't go that high, but looks like he's right in that they're gonna fight to keep him.

Get more money from L'Ville. Say no thank you Tenn. Then wait until a big job opens up later. If Texas should become available this year or next year, he could be a strong candidate because of his resume. Go somewhere than you can compete for a conference championship and top 10 relevance. Tenn will be hard to do that within 2 years because of the elite programs.

UTEP and Arkansas St both are talking with Bryan Kelly to see if he has any interest in moving up to a more prestigious program.

Just reached out to Butch Jones, who said any report of him taking the Colorado job is "absolutely false."
