Thomas couldve gone last year and been a 1st rounder, Id bet good money he is done.reclegend22;1335145 wrote:As for the Buckeyes, just curious, who is the top recruit coming in their class next fall? Any shooters to perhaps help Craft and company out on the wing next year? I imagine that Thomas will have an opportunity to go first round if he continues to play at the rate he has, but I'm not sure on what the likelihood of him leaving is.
They have Marc Loving coming in. Kid out of St. John's up here in Toledo. He is a streaky shooter, but I wouldnt say he is very polished at it. Of course, I have not seen him play yet this year. He did drop like 34 against Detroit Powerhouse, Romulus in an exhibition win.
Funny story (or not so funny) about Marc. I was coaching the 8th Grade basketball team at Maumee Valley and Marc was living with a former assistant coach of mine at Maumee Valley, Lionel Armstead. Armstead was an Emmanuel Christian graduate and former West Virginia player. On of the best, if not the best, players out of the TAAC ever. Well, Lionel, as Marcs legal guardian has Loving playing for the 8th grade team at Emmanuel Christian as a 7th grader. Marc scored 34 of the teams 36 points and we lost 36-35 lol. Only loss on the season. Lionel was ALMOST convinced by Jim Robinson to attend MVCD for high school and play for him. He even took the test to try and get an academic scholarship (I have no idea if he did or not, and dont ant to start that debate). But either way, he ended up at St. Johns and is on his way to OSU.
