I don't know why this never got more attention. This is Lerner admitting "people" are screaming at them to do something and that the FEC can't do anything so they want the IRS "to fix the problem". Hmmm, who do we know that routinely does end-arounds on the Constitution?
Connect the dots here...you "can't do anything [because of the laws]"...but what you can do to stop "all this money" is delay approvals.
This is 2010....Who do you think was "screaming" about this? The Dems with near supermajorities in both houses? Nawwww, nothing to see here, move along.

This Koskinen (Head of the IRS) character is an absolute ass clown. He HAS to be related to Harry Reid.
When you act like that before a Congressional Oversight committee it's a total affront to the taxpayer.

The U.S. economy contracted at an annual rate of 2.9 percent in the first quarter, the biggest drop since the first quarter of 2009, from a previous estimate of a contraction of 1 percent. Wall Street expected the world’s biggest economy to shrink by an annual rate of 1.7 percent.

All the while obama's War on Free Enterprise, War on Energy, and War on Taxpayers continues to take its toll.

What's that about 2009? Wasn't Bush43 President then for 19 days? Then this contraction has to be his fault. I bet Barry won't know anything about it until he reads his newspaper tomorrow.QuakerOats;1629855 wrote:The U.S. economy contracted at an annual rate of 2.9 percent in the first quarter, the biggest drop since the first quarter of 2009, from a previous estimate of a contraction of 1 percent. Hey look....Give Barry a chance to fix Bush's mess. After all he's only had six years to right the ship.BGFalcons82;1629871 wrote:What's that about 2009? Wasn't Bush43 President then for 19 days? IRS crook gave tens of thousands to obama and democrats:
http://www.cnsnews.com/mrctv-blog/barbara-boland/dems-fawn-over-irs-commissioner-who-contributed-over-85000-their
"IRS Commissioner John Koskinen contributed more than $85,000 to Democratic candidates and committees, MRCTV research has discovered - with a $5,000 donation to President Obama in 2012 and $19,000 to the Democratic National Committee from 1988 to 2008. This may explain the fawning "thank yous" Koskinen received for his public service from many Democrats last night on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform."
The obama regime is making the Clinton machine corruption look like a walk in the park.
Put the entire bunch of SOB's in jail, today.

You watch the video, and then you go read the summary at CNN and they're complimentary. It was the same during the debates with Biden/Obama. Liberals just like to see their buddies up their "giving Repubs the business". They don't give a shit about finding what went wrong here and why. So partisan they've completely lost sight of what matters.

I think you mean Cummings. That guy is a real piece of work. Nothing like watching our paid representatives mock us for wanting answers and transparency.queencitybuckeye;1629947 wrote:Sounds like Rep. Issa and his lapdog, Rep. Jordan of Ohio.
The IRS lost emails because a hard drive crashed...So Cummings wants to know if Koskinen believes in aliens.

Koskinen has given nearly $100,000 to obama and other democrats, and not one dime to republicans. Obviously he and the dems have each other's backs, no matter the criminality and massive abuse of power. The in-your-face lawlessness of this regime is historic in nature in this country.

Missing emails now at the EPA as well.
Shocking, shocking I say when you consider that the Dear Leader has been plotting to destroy the energy sector that all the sudden emails are missing there now as well.

Seriously, collusion/scandal/conspiracy was so much tougher to pull-off in the old days. These days covering your tracks just requires crashing a few hard drives.IggyPride00;1629987 wrote:Missing emails now at the EPA as well.

Uh-huh. Yep yep yep. And the IRS had to delay the purchase of new hard drives because of the sequester - so this really is about the TEA Party!QuakerOats;1630039 wrote:No doubt, plus the faulty hard drives were purchased under the Bush administration.

You don't care for Gowdy's behavior? For actually being upset that the IRS was taking advantage of the little guys while this moron sits up there doing nothing and not giving a shit that crimes were committed?gut;1629937 wrote:I really don't care much for his behavior either (although I think he head a right to be genuinely pissed).

No, it's not particularly professional behavior. I don't doubt he's upset, but I'm also certain he's capable of controlling his emotions. It's still grandstanding for the crowd - such behavior is strictly for appearances but actually accomplishes little.iclfan2;1630104 wrote:You don't care for Gowdy's behavior? Further, such behavior invites people to label the attack as motivated by partisanship and dismiss the points being made.

We need more Gowdys and less McCains, Grahams, and Boehners. We need leaders to fight....loudly at times... to defeat those that hate this country. "Going along to get along" is the road paved to hell. Congrats to Rep Gowdy for showing his passion, his patriotism and his sack.gut;1630138 wrote:No, it's not particularly professional behavior. I don't care for it. It doesn't sway doubters to buy-in and puts them on the defensive to dig-in. Reminds me of liberals cheering Biden in the VP debate - total partisan mob that favors bullying over merit.BGFalcons82;1630146 wrote:We need more Gowdys and less McCains, Grahams, and Boehners. Leave the screaming, shouting and partisan grandstanding to the non-elected talking heads that don't make policy.
