A lot of those idiots voted for him. Let him lie through his teeth and cover up all his important flaws just to win an election.
Bush's lowest was, what, 36? I figure about 20% on the far right and left will never disapprove of "their guy" ever. And the rest are either ignorant or don't really care - as long as they, and maybe their friends/family, have jobs and are doing ok they approve.

But because Obamakare is going to affect everyone we could see some seriously bad ratings for Obama and the Dems. And if this does end-up being the disaster it's shaping up to be, it's going to be a VERY interesting partisan battle between Dems wanting single-payer and Repubs wanting to just repeal ACA.

This is probably the appropriate "state of the economy" thread....I just got an email from my last law firm in Virginia announcing new hires. In 2013 there is a total of 3.....that is correct, 3. In 2007 we hired over 40.

And nice to see some more deflection from the WH:

Back in 1998 I told one of my very liberal (and very gay) friends that we would see affirmative action for gays in our lifetime as they would be deemed a protected class. We might see it before the bozo is out of office.
Why do you think I should be able to get fired because I'm gay?

I was sitting here trying to think of the best way to say it, and I couldn't have said it better myself.

The problem with AA and protected classes (well, one of the problems) is that many/most companies become 'afraid' of firing a minority due to the fear of a lawsuit. Even if the minority is a terrible employee. I have seen it where some of the protected classes actually take advantage of this and work under different 'rules' believing they won't be fired.

We just went through this with our middle-aged black receptionist, who needed to be terminated a long time ago. It literally took 6 months to create a file large enough to let her go without fear of reprisal/lawsuits. She may still try something, but using the company credit card for personal on-line purchases without approval was the final nail.

"I was sitting here trying to think of the best way to say it, and I couldn't have said it better myself."

I generally agree with this. When we provide a new "protected class", there are a myriad of legal issues that surround and encompass it. To the extent we have legal scrutiny on this we've kept it narrowly tailored to race/gender/family/religious and cultural grounds - the last of which can be somewhat dicey for businesses.

But orientation is furthering that. For the most part most gay people want their privacy and what goes on in the private area should be, well, a private matter and that is it. That doesn't mean that what goes on privately should be an issue in the workplace.

Speaking of Romney....now that Obama has been exposed for numerous, MAJOR campaign lies, makes you wonder what lies Obama and a complicit media were pushing about Romney?

I'm starting to believe the conspiracy theory that Romney knew he wouldn't be able to overturn Obamacare, knew it would be disastrous and didn't want the job.

Not a fan of Romney, but pretty good video. He would have been a much better President than the bozo we have in office right now.

More evidence of the amateurism in the WH......
http://www.usatoday.com/story/theoval/2013/12/06/obama-nelson-mandela-south-africa-funeral/3888737/

Jay Carney has stated that BHO will personally go to South Africa for Mandela's funeral..... but less than a year earlier, failed to send any high level representation to England for Margaret Thatcher's funeral.

Thatcher, of course, was a staunch ally and partner of the United states over a term that spanned three presidencies.

The White House has been caught lying again.

After years of denying he had ever met his Kenyan uncle Omar Obama who has been living illegally in America for 5 decades now the White House has admitted that he lived with him for 3 weeks while in law school.

That uncle was just granted permission by the courts to stay in America permanently, and the White House has issued a correction about the relationship with him.

These people don't even pretend to me honest anymore and it is disgusting.

Seeing obamas "it's time for republicans to stand up for something instead of standing against everything" (paraphrased) quote thrown around all over social media with responses such as "preach, Barry!" "Obama speaking truths!" And "love him" following the quote.

Honestly makes me sad for Americas future.

Not a big deal, but it is part and parcel with the White House staff picking and choosing what is a truth worth telling and what isn't.

I find that to be more disturbing than anything.

So Carney said no one checked with Obama...which begs the question - how did you come up with an answer without consulting Obama, and why wouldn't you have just asked him in the first place?

This administration has a very low opinion of its supporters. How else can you explain their obvious belief and continued use of lies that it is effective in controlling Obama's image/perception?

Stay classy at the Mandela memorial, Mr. President.

He is such a fucking embarrassment.
