Hoke says Denard is day-to-day. I think that is Hoke-speak for Gardner will play this game. Michigan by 14.

Michigan is going to win 7 games this season. IMO Hoke is half the coach Rich Rod is and it's about to show. No way does UM go into Columbus this year and win

I think hoke is an overrated coach. But he's way better then dickrod.

8-5 at worst, 9-4 at best. Michigan I think is better than they were last season. They played a tougher nonconference schedule and haven't caught the breaks that they did last season, defensively they have gone from awful to pretty good much faster than I thought possible. I think they lose in Columbus but win all the rest including a pretty good Bowl game.

I don't think a lot of people think he's a "great" coach. Hell, I'd venture to say that even the tsun fans on here don't think he's a "great" coach, but I'm pretty confident that most of us agree he's better than Rich Rod, especially for the situation up there.

I haven't heard anyone say Brady Hoke is a great coach.

I'd say he has potential to be one, but it certainly remains to be seen. It would take multiple B1G titles and consistent top 5/10 teams to be considered great at Michigan.

To be overrated you have to be rated high, do you not? Otherwise you are meeting expections (where Hoke is today) or underrated.

No I don't think you have to be highly rated. But let's face it. Michigan fans think he's a better coach then urban. So they think he's highly rated. And I'm not saying you say it.

I've never heard anyone say that Hoke is a better coach than Meyer. But after the Rich Rod years, and the turn around in Hoke's first season is anyone surprised they think they are back?

Ummmm, no, they don't. Again, I've never heard anyone say he's a great coach, and I've surely never heard anyone say he's a better coach than Urban.

Go visit Michigan's 247 site. I've read it lots of times when people post the comments on bucknuts.

After what Richrod did, hoke had a pretty easy job to turn things around. He's def done a good job at that. And it's better for the bigten as well.

It wouldn't be hard for most coaches to improve on what Rich Rod did, but to go from 7-6 (3-5) to 11-2 (6-2) and a win over OSU is pretty damn good.
