I do know older folks who literally go to the persons page (via the search function) and click the unfriend link. Just making sure you didnt do that.
I believe you. My mom is old. She also has facebook. Old people shouldn't facebook.

I actually wish my mom was on FB. But maybe I would change my mind if she ever actually got it.

No. No you're not.
There's a service that you can be held accountable for saying that. You sign up for the person you're voting for, and if they lose, you get entered into a contest to "leave the country", basically winning a one-way ticket to another country.

- Vaguebooking (Obvi)

- Egocentrism

Here is one I hate. There is a girl, a FB friend, who is very fat, and not attractive. I'm only using her as an example, and she's not at fault... She will put a picture up of herself, and people will comment, "You're so beautiful!" blah, blah, blah.

No, she's not beautiful, she fat, and really pretty ugly. Stop being fucking nice. Just don't comment. If you can't say anything mean, don't say anything at all!

Eh it's not really a big deal. My mom doesn't bug me. She thinks all my drunk pictures are funny.

Something I've been noticing lately more and more is when companies like Wal Mart, Target, etc. have pages and some random person posts a Cool Story Bro along the lines of "Last night I was in store #5643 and the cashier was about to close but this little old man came up and didn't have enough coins to purchase flowers for his dying wife and the cashier just went about her business and didnt help him. So I pulled out some money and helped paid for it" and this post will have tens of thousands of likes/comments. I try to avoid the comments but sometimes my curiosity gets the better of me. The comments range from people arguing about God, blaming Wal Mart, defending Wal Mart, praising the original poster, etc. Then you have people trying to have arguments while there are 7 new comments every five seconds.

The only reason it'll show up on my newsfeed is because one of my friends happened to like it.

There's this kid from college who used to post about his baby mama drama. He'd post about going to court to fight for custody or visitation, or about how his baby mama was trying to deny his right to see his kid. It was annoying at first, and then interesting (he actually gives a crap about his kid), and then it got annoying again when everybody jumped on his bandwagon. The "facebook" fame went to his head and now he's annoying again.

He'd also post 47 pictures of him and his two year old son dressing alike. He'd instagram them all so they'd have those vintage filters on it, and then post the album to facebook.

He'd also pose questions on facebook with the sole purpose to start some bullcrap/get attention. Anything from gay marriage, to ignorant "facts" about racism, to "Ladies, do you prefer a dope boy or a hard working man?" He'd then follow that up with "Don't get offended, it's just facebook!"

Swear I've never seen someone so thirsty for facebook comments than this kid. He'd average like 30 comments on every status update. Ridiculous. I finally blocked him about a month ago. I couldn't take it anymore.
