Tongue tacos were the best thing I ate this weekend as well. Mine was a Lengua Ahumada taco from a new place (Mi Mero Mole) here in Portland, smoked tongue with potatoes & cactus in green sauce in a freshly made corn tortilla. Quite possibly the greatest thing I've eaten this past year....

Sounds awesome! That would be a killer combo with the cactus

Anniversary weekend last week.
Friday: Went to a Japanese Steakhouse, Masa, near my place. Hit the spot.
Saturday for lunch: Went to deli in the area, and got a Reuben, was awesome.
Saturday dinner: L'Auberge Provencale Bed and Breakfast in VA.
Amazing dinner, had punkin soup, and locally grown roast duck, with apple crisp for desert and some good VA wine. Had some Blanton's neat to end the meal.
Sunday: Eggs Benedict for breakfast at the B&B, was fantastic.

If anyone ever wants to go to a B&B within the DC area, L'Auberge is a great place.
