If you remember right I can't recall what thread it was if it was last year or this year, I said it is good for College Football when ND is good.

I just don't think they are a Top 3 team.

Unless something unexpected happens in the next 3 weeks...ND will be playing USC in SoCal for a chance to play for the BCS championship. Crazy.

What do I need to explain?

ND goes undefeated...They're most likely playing for the 'chip.

So they will jump KSU and Oregon if they both go undefeated?

I think they could possibly jump one not both. I don't think the USC will be that big if USC loses to Oregon next week.

I love how Notre Dame would match up with Kansas State. I think the like would be something like Notre Dame -2.5.

I think Oregon and Alabama are better than Notre Dame. But then again neither of them have faced anything like Notre Dame's defense.

I think Alabama would win because Notre Dame would have trouble moving the ball literally at all, but the Tide would struggle putting points up themselves. I think it'd be Alabama -13. Something like 23-10.

Oregon is so fast that it is stupid. And they now how defensive bodies who are huge and athletic (and two in particular who should have been Irish :( ), but in a bowl game Oregon would have to push a DL that is arguably the best in the country and Te'o/Spond/Fox pursuing like hell. It's a tough matchup for the Ducks too, like the OSU-Oregon 2009(?) Rose Bowl. I'd say Oregon -8.

The most point put up on Notre Dame all season is 17.

17.

It's hard to say with honestly that Notre Dame wouldn't have a puncher's chance in all of those matchups.

Can we just have the top 4 face off this year? I mean for God's sake college football. How is a sport so huge this f*k'd up in regard to the most important part of its season?

For everyone who says ND is not as good as KS or UO or 'Bama, I recall a OU being -12 today and everyone saying they couldn't win in Norman, lol. They rolled.

I love the salty Buckeyes fans here. HATIN'. Where's Tearnan? Is she ever going to show up here and talk that talk again?

I agree with this. Excellent win by the Irish last night, and it definitely validated their reputation as a helluva defensive team.

fwiw, Bob Stoops still can't coach up a meaningful game :o

Great win for ND. I still think Bama is easily the best team but after that its definitely debatable between ND KSU and Oregon. NDs schedule has turned out to be MUCH easier than people thought before the season.

That would be pretty damn awesome. Some interesting match ups too. I just have a feeling lsu will find a way to beat bama this weekend. It's in Baton Rouge and lsu is so tough to beat there

I just think Bama is sooo much better. McCarron is 18-0 TD-INT ratio. Only chance LSU has is if they win the turnover battle by at least 2 and i just dont see that happening.

Nice win for ND, I didnt think they had a chance last night.

Let's assume that Bama, Oregon and ND win out.....which two teams get the nod for the title game? ND's schedule has been tougher to this point but Oregon has 3 ranked teams left on their schedule in USC, Oregon State and Stanford

Nd will go over Oregon for the simple fact Oregon had a shitty ooc schedule.

I'm watching the game right now. I got to a TV just as Manti picked off the pass in the fourth.

Holding OU to 13 is just great. That's gotta give this defense confidence that they can hang with just about anyone.

Really excited for this team. Glad they got this win. And I'm hoping that they don't lose focus over the next 3 weeks.
