But, it's equally ridiculous to lay blame on the president for the high cost of gasoline when it has gone up due to a generalized improvement in the global economy. There's probably a more general critique about why they're arguing about the price of gas anyway but that's what joe six pack wants to hear.

This ought to be a very simple concept for the great sleeper to digest. The price was low during Obama's first month in office because the economy was in the **** and that resulted in weak demand. The world economy has improved and consequently the demand for oil has increased which raises the price.

But hey, the media horse race obsession makes it like these two cats have presidential powers way beyond those granted in the Constitution.
I agree with you 100%, the President has zero affect on gas prices.

However, funny how the liberals now want to use this crutch but when Bush was in office and gas prices went over $3 and over $4 he needed to be impeached!

Fairly close, not exact but the basic premise is the same.

Ok thank you. If I remember right didn't Reagan boost the economy during his tenure?

LMAO....The left railing on Romney's "binders of women" comment. This election would not be close without the liberal media actively campaigning for Obama. Seriously, you are attacking Romney for this comment? Even the media can't run Obama's record.

Truthfully....national polls don't matter. Didn't when te Presidnet was ahead ,don't now
And yet last night when you were a post-a-matic linking to polls all over the site, they were more vital than blood. Lulz.

no he is not the liar in this discussion.
"Of course, yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks. We mourned with the families who were lost on that day. I visited the graves of troops who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery, and had the opportunity to say thank you and visit some of our wounded warriors at Walter Reed. And then last night, we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi. As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.
No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done."

This just confirms that he did not call the Benghazi attack an "Act of Terrorism". Then he ran with the Youtube video thing for the 2 weeks after this statement.

This.

If he was referring to Benghazi in the rose garden, then he wouldn't have spent 2 weeks calling it a protest inspired by a video.

Can't figure out how people have such difficulty wrapping their heads around this concept.

Rational people don't. It's only the kool-aid drinkers that can't see thru Obama's bs.

I have to agree at this point I think Obama has given up on the undecideds and swing voters and it's all about turning out the base. The last two debates with Obama and Biden clearly haven't been about substance but in-your-face, aggressive demogoguing and demonization intended to fire-up a bunch of blue-collar neanderthals.

Arguing semantics over this incident makes you look stupid. By definition, it was an act of terror period. The president acknowledged it. The speculation why it happened needed confirmation by the ground operations. That is how it works.

Fact of the matter is, Obama just flat out lies. Stephanie Cutter, of all people, came out before the debate and said that Romney's economic plan wouldn't add 5 trillion to the budget, then at the debate, Obama upped the ante, and claimed it would add somewhere around 8 trillion. He did cut leases and permits by 48%, he claimed he didn't. He's claimed Fast and Furious started under the Bush administration, ABC news says it began in October 2009. These are easily found facts, but the American voting public, for the most part, doesn't educate themselves on the candidates.

romney was shown to be a liar and fool
when caught claiming the president did not say the attack was 'act of terror"
but of course the haters of our african american president prefer to believe what fox tells them rather than believe what transcripts and video show.

So how do you defend him calling this a protest gone wrong over a Youtube video for the two weeks after the incident. Susan Rice, went on every show claiming protest over a Youtube vide. In front of the UN, Obama claimed protest over Youtube video. If he knew this was a terrorist attack while he stood in the Rose Garden that day, why did he continue to mislead Americans and our allies across the world?

You do realize that the moderator got on CNN within 30 minutes of the debate and said she was wrong and Romney was correct with regards to Libya don't you?

But of course she must be racist too huh?

What about the Africa-American that told Obama times have been tough, and asked what Obama was going to do to fix things? He obviously didn't get the memo - must not have gotten Obamaphone.

You can probably add FLA and VA to Romney's side, and Michigan to Obama's side.

Some of these polls are 7-day rolling averages, so you can't expect to see any impact (if there is one) from Tuesday's debate until mid-next week.

What I do think is interesting is that Biden "won the debate" but clearly did absolutely nothing to stop the slide and, arguably, may (as has been speculated) driven a further wedge between Obama and independents/undecideds. Talking over someone without refuting them on substance, without bringing substance of your own, doesn't work on people that aren't drinking the kool-aid.
