Choo walk
Phillips hit
Votto RBI hit
Ludwick walk
Bruce RBI go
Frazier RBI go
Cozart double
Hanigan RBI double Stubbs and Bourn didn't communicate and it dropped

Sounds like Stubbs made a good play cutting the ball off on cozart's double. So much for bad angles ;)

Brantley 5th? Hmmm interesting.

Not sure that's where I would slide him in

Why not? Puts him in between 2 power hitters in Swisher and Santana. And he's a double machine

Indians won. Must have scored 3 in ninth. They're going to the World Series. I'm pretty sure we will hear this from Indians fans soon.

WOW, looks like the reds aren't as good as we thought. Indians will take this momentum to the WS, book it.

Here's the good news for both teams.

Lots of teams in both division in serious limbo.

Outside of St. Louis and Detroit, I don't really see another contender in either division. Compared to the other 4 divisions, it pays to be in the Central in 2013.

He's very good side to side, going back and coming in on the short fly balls is where he struggles.

Stubbs has some sort of vision problem. He has a condition where he can't gauge depths properly. I'm sure you will hear about it at some point during the season when he totally botches a line drive to the OF. He's worked really hard just to be a solid defensive player.

I've never had a doubt that there was something wrong with his eyesight or something of that nature.

I don't know a ton about it. I've read about it before but he's never made an excuse out of it. I'm not sure if there is a surgery he could have to correct it, who knows. You would think as an MLB player in that position would at least consider it.

With his speed and athleticism, quite honestly, he should be the elite defensive CF in the sport...

Didn't know this, but it makes sense. He is atrocious when he gets close to that wall.

It probably doesn't help his terrible eye at the plate either.

There's a reason he won best athlete in Texas, was an All-American at UT and considered pretty much one of, if not the best athletes in the MLB. It's why he was a top 10 draft pick.

Yet his whole career, even in college, the minors and now the majors, he's been plagued by these issues. How many guys have a 2.5:1 K to BB ratio for their minor league career and have a career minor league average of .268, yet are given the reigns as a full-time starter in CF anyway.

I think the Reds, like everyone before them, felt he would be able to improve on these qualities, but he never has. Still, a serviceable MLB player, I just can't see it changing. That's why all this hope from Cleveland fans that he's maybe another BP and needed a change of scenery, I don't buy it. There's real limitation present that I'm not sure even the best baseball minds, coaches, managers and experience can fix.

Yea, at some point, you are who you are. Stubbs just hasn't shown a lick of improvement since college really.

Yes, it seems like he can not at all recognize what pitch is coming, so every pitch he guesses what it is, and many times he's wrong and swings when it is way out of the zone and takes when it is right down the pike. And then many times when he guess right and it is a FB down the middle he can't hit it anyway.

I am just shickled tittless Dusty doesn't have an access to use Stubbs every freaking day.

I don't care if Stubbs wins the AL MVP....this season will be more enjoyable for me.
