Think he meant that all runners reached with 2 outs.

Leake is settling down. It's going to take at least 3 more runs to win this though.

Rolen, Stubbs and Cozart a combined 6 for 39...same story, different (post)season.

Yes, the Reds OBP against Zito today was 7/9 (.778), and they scored but 2 runs!

I have a good feeling about this game for some odd reason. Does dusty pinch hit for leake here or stay with him?

He's got a better chance to get on than Valdez or Cairo, who Dusty would probably use haha.

One of those is a smart hitter, but over the hill, and the other two are hard headed with Cozart needing to go to RF. Encouraging a bit though today with a fly out to RF in the first then a bleeding hit up the middle the next time up.

Guess I was wrong, Leake reaches base on a bobbled ball to the 2B

Neither Cozart or Stubbs are starting caliber players. Cozart is worth having around, but maybe not as a full-time shortstop. I'm a Cozart fan too.

I disagree. He's a rookie. He's been good all year. A little streaky, yes, but he's been very good for a rook. And certainly better then any other option they have.

He's also 27. Agreed, far better option and cost-efficient. That doesn't mean he's good though.

It's amazing. The Reds were the healthiest team in baseball this year but their season, in-reality, could be defined by 2 awfully ill-timed injuries. Not even severe ones, just terrible timing.

Bochy playing lefty/righty already in the 4th. A sign of being desperate, which they are! Joey 1/1 with a single with no one on and two out, but 0/2 with two on. People were crying he wasn't getting RBIs because 1,2 weren't getting on, but when they do his success hasn't been very good, even before the injury.

Ludwick is 3-for-23 career vs. Lincecum with 11 Ks.
