College basketball isn't down at the top, though.

I was at the 2000 Final Four when MSU and Wisconsin played. I actually had to have my father go around the arena looking for Advil my headache was so bad. I took it between games (when he returned) and I was energetic during UNC/Florida. I highly doubt the Advil did anything. They fun teams running up and down playing exciting basketball was my medicine. For that, I will always hate Wisconsin. That and I get headaches till this day lol.

Ok, no more about Bo.
I can appreciate that very detailed hatred you have of Wisconsin. I will give you a pass. Ha.

Arizona trails Stanford 27-26 at half in Tucson.

UNLV tied with Fresno State at the half. They can't lose that one. Rebels have been disappointing.

Starting to think this KU team has a "chemistry" issue that needs to be fixed. How on earth do you score 13 points in 1 half against TCU?

Didnt Bill Self just recently say that his team has problems scoring at times? Talk about terrible foreshadowing...

UNLV is definitely one of the more underachieving teams this year. I'd add Creighton, UCLA and N.C. State to that list as well.

Down at the top.
Up in the middle.

Makes for a more entertaining season.

Last year, even before the Marshall injury, you probably were looking at a 75% chance either UNC or UK would cut down the nets.

This year, I'll give you ANY 2 teams with combined odds and I guarantee you none would be over 25%. It's both a combo of there not being an amazingly talented team, but just as much about how good the teams 10-40 can be on any given night.

Ole Miss is on Comcast Sports Net Chicago if anyone wants to see The Professor play. I'm hoping he'll demonstrate more tonight. Rebels up huge on in-state rival Mississippi State.

Here's a good one.

Alabama, just starting to get some momentum, loses at Auburn and scores a TOTAL of 37 points.

After the game, both teams were forced to sit together at mid court, hold hands and watch every second of the Kansas/TCU game...

Aaron Bright, from the Seattle region, is a drummer, in the game of life. He sets the beat and the pace for his team. Drive that train, Aaron. - Bill Walton

Laugh. Out loud.

I have a feeling we are going to have a lot more quotes throughout the last two months of the season. Bill is on his game this year. As always.

Do you know if there is any chance of Walton calling NCAA games for CBS? It's been a long while since he has, but it'd be great if he would return. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar can stay at home, though.

Follow Eamonn Brennan on Twitter, and he is throwing all the Walton quotes out right now from tonight lol.

Damn it. I missed two of those. I would have lost it had I heard the flower the plants comment and the last one, especially after watching Kansas' first half.

Eamonn Brennan ‏@eamonnbrennan Can we get Bill Walton to broadcast this Kansas-TCU disaster remotely?

On overly drastic view, that is hard to argue lol.

On Dick Vitale calling the NCAA Final Four for ESPN International: "How do we get that? Do we fly to Timbuktu and hope the French Army has liberated the country so that we can watch the game?"

When Ryan Kelly returns -- latest reports have that being in mid-February -- it's very easy to argue. And despite setbacks last night and tonight, Florida and Kansas are very good teams. Miami, Gonzaga, Butler and Syracuse are all teams that will be tough outs in March as well. As I said earlier, I think Miami might be the best team in the country when playing at their peak level. They are playing well enough to be in serious consideration for a one seed in the Dance.

Titus is a shock jock. He's funny tho.

Just want to document all the gems I hear:

"What a game. How much fun. Strike up the band. Get the cheerleaders on the court. Thank you Tucson for such a beautiful night of basketball. They're dancin' in Sabino Canyon as the wild cactuses are enjoying it all. What a night in the desert." -Bill Walton

He has the best damn closing game comments in the history of broadcasting.
