There are a lot more KU fans in Chicago than UK fans, I'd guess. I really don't understand that decision..I almost never see CBS do that here (to any team, just not KU).

Ole Miss is 21-7.

Mississippi State is 7-20, they have lost 13 straight SEC games and the last 2 by 39 and 30 respectively.

Of course, MSU would be up on Ole Miss in the 2nd half. It's 2013 in college basketball...

Nebraska would be a bubble team in any other league. They have steadily improved and for the most part, seem to play the best teams in the league pretty tough.

Just so they can go to the UK game that hasn't even started yet.

Everyone please tell me more about how KU gets a lot of love from the media

They were up like 30. They do this all the time.

And the sec is really bad. But I still agree.

TCU over Kansas
Penn State over Michigan
Old Dominion over Virginia AND Northeastern
Mississippi State over Mississippi

I mean...I can't remember a year where the bottoms won games like this. It's unprecedented. You don't see it in other sports.

Must win games tonight for Baylor (hosting KSU) and Boise State (hosting Colorado State).

Bubble not getting any stronger with Kentucky, Tennessee, Bama, Iowa State, and Arizona State losing and Ole Miss and Indiana State about to go down.

Baylor loses on a three at the buzzer. They are cooked.

^ That whole sequence was funny. K-State got the ball with 36 seconds left and a tie game, so they essentially got to take the last shot. The dude airballed, shot clock violation. With one second left, Baylor throws the ball the length of the court but no one touches it. K-State gets the ball back at the spot and beats the buzzer.

If there's anything I miss about the Huddle, it's the great place for gathering high school basketball information. The high school forum over there was an encyclopedia of knowledge at one time.

How jacked up is the CAA Conference Tournament this year with 4 of the 11 teams ineligible?

BC winning against Virginia is no surprise. I've said all season how tough a team BC is at home. They are led by two really fantastic players -- Olivier Hanlan, the potential ACC ROTY, and Ryan Anderson -- and have wins at home against Maryland and Virginia and one-point losses to both Miami and Duke and a five-point loss to N.C. State. It's no fluke that opposing teams struggle at the Conte Forum when it's been happening all season long in the ACC.

The Eagles are just 4-5 at home in league play, but the five losses are by a combined 19 points. This is a team that will be very good in the next couple of years behind Hanlan and Anderson and a solid crop of young guys to balance out the group.

Carolina defeated Florida State today by a score of 79-58. The Tar Heels are now 21-8 overall, 11-5 in the ACC.

Since inserting PJ Hairston into the starting lineup, Carolina has played MUCH better. After a close loss to Duke at Cameron, the Heels have won five straight and are now in sole possession of third place in the ACC, just one game behind Duke. The small lineup has really opened things up for Dexter Strickland and Marcus Paige to drive to the basket, and that floor spacing has also allowed Hairston and Bullock to thrive from the perimeter. McAdoo, whose strong suit is certainly not playing with his back to the basket, has really benefitted as well.

Carolina appears to be a very dangerous team right now, but they go to Maryland on Wednesday, which is one of the toughest road venues in the country, and they'll finish up the regular season as they host Duke next Saturday with Andrew Wiggins in attendance. Two wins would keep the Heels from playing on the first day of the ACCT, and would guarantee them a spot in the NCAA field. Two losses could force Carolina to really perform well in the ACCT to get into the Big Dance. Should be interesting to see how things go next week.

I hope, but if they lose the next two (which could easily happen), they would be 21-10 going into the ACCT. If they somehow lost the first game in that tournament, they would have lost three straight. Their RPI is around 20, SOS is something like 13, and their in-conference schedule is the toughest of any school in the ACC, but their only good OOC win is UNLV. I don't want to leave it up to chance.
