Temple on a 28 to 7 run on VCU. The Owls lead it 53 to 48. I've said it all year, but when Temple is clicking, they can beat anyone and could find their way to Atlanta. With that said, I'll probably put way too much belief in their potential and kill all of my brackets because of it. But damn can Wyatt, Lee and O'Brien play.

Temple has poured it on VCU over the past 20 minutes of the game. They've just been killing them. Since three minute mark of the first half, Temple has outscored VCU 43 to 15. Temple leads it 68 to 56 with six minutes left.

CBS can't be serious leaving a two-possession Creighton-Wichita State game with two minutes left, to go to the start of Michigan-Indiana. Why even show the first 38 minutes then? While CBS is a much greater college basketball provider than ESPN in terms of broadcasters and production, they make some idiotic decisions.

If I were a fan of Creighton or Wichita, I'd be irate.

Exactly. In 2012, Creighton ranked 22nd in the nation in total Division I attendance, averaging more than 13,500 fans per game. To put that into perspective, that's more than Georgetown, which shares an arena many nights with the Washington Wizards. Creighton drew just shy of 19,000 for a game at home against Wichita State in 2012.

The larger point is this: If CBS is going to air a game, it needs to air the damn game until the finish if said game is close at the end. Switching to a new game when the current game is a one or two possession game is stupid. Apparently nobody at CBS has ever heard of Ritalin.

Davidson just survived against Appalachian State. That would have been a stunner... beat them by 23 and 35 during the regular season. 95% free throw shooter Nik Cochran blew a chance to ice the game with 9 seconds left, but ASU missed a potential tying 3 at the buzzer.

Basically tells me that if anyone of these teams makes the conference finals they are guaranteed a 2 seed. If any of these teams wins the B1G tournament, they are a guaranteed 1 seed. If Indiana wins the tournament, they will be the #1 overall seed. And if all of these teams make semi's they are guaranteed a 3 seed at worst. :thumbup:

If Duke wins the ACC Tournament, the Blue Devils will be the number one overall seed. They are No. 1 RPI, No. 1 SOS, 27-4 overall, 9-2 against the RPI Top 40, unblemished against the AP Top 5 (4-0), the No. 2 team in the country, and have 12 wins against current projected NCAA Tournament teams. Most of the analysts on ESPN have echoed this sentiment in the last two days. When you also factor in how good Duke has been this year with Kelly in the lineup (18-0), I think the selection committee will give the Blue Devils the nod.

Does that mean that Duke will outlast Indiana in the NCAA Tournament? No. But I think the Blue Devils will have done enough to warrant the number one overall seed if they win an ACC championship on Sunday.

There's always something about Western Kentucky and getting NCAA bids that comes to fruition. It's amazing. They haven't been the #1 seed in the Sun Belt but once in the last decade yet have made like 6 NCAA appearances.

Yeah, because Indiana winning both the regular season championship OUTRIGHT and the conference tournament championships in the INDISPUTABLE toughest conference in America would not be deserving of the #1 overall seed. :rolleyes:

Duke has accomplished nothing so far other than yielding to football school Miami. They better win the ACC tournament if they want a #1 seed period, because if they don't and Miami does, Miami/OSU/Indiana/Gonzaga/Kansas will get it over them.

In Duke's defense (gasp), they do have 4 OOC top 25 wins and 8 OOC top 50 wins.

I do agree though, they aren't getting a #1 if Miami wins the ACC.

If Duke wins one game in the ACCT they will be a #1 seed.

Not the overall No. 1, but if Duke reaches at least the semis of the ACC Tournament and loses a close game to UNC, they've still got a one seed.

Kansas is up there as well, in terms of winning 1 game in the Big 12 Tourney and still getting a 1 seed.

Look at the comparison between Duke and KU, it's similar.
