Just back from the game...We were joking that Richardson really knows how to run north and south.....except that the field is laid out east to west.

not a good effort by TR this week...good thing Hardesty stepped up

just got back from the game. that enviorment in the 2nd half was amazing. coop has some hands and should def stay on this roster, cribbs still has "it" in kick off return and punt return. greg little didn't drop a ball, bill winn looks like a stud and steal in the 6th round. also that ball to gordon was very nice. a great catch by gordon. can we get two in a row against indy?

also jordo lookin like a fool

Weeden only threw 29 passes as well.....much better than the usual 40+ we've been seeing this season.

Lost in all of this and it may not be popular but Shurmur actually called a damn good second half, for once.

In Weedens last 5 games he has averaged 60% completion, 280 yds a game, 7Td/6int and an average QB rating of 83.4.

That is much better than average QB play. and he continues to improve.

It is a shame that stinker of a game week 1 will kill his season averages, but he has frankly played as well as I could have hoped for given the circumstances.

You see Gordon improving rapidly, and now Cooper as a sure handed target and I expect Weeden to keep getting better.

He has made some throws the past few weeks we haven't seen around here in a long time.

Unless he falls off a cliff the rest of the season, I think for once we can finally start looking forward as a franchise and head into an off-season without trying to figure out how we are going to improve the QB position (because it is dragging the team down as in the past). That excites me!

Amen, brother! When was the last time we could say we looked forward to/were excited about a Browns offense? 2007

Yeah, Haden had some rough moments, but he did the job we drafted him to do. He made plays when he had to. I just wish we could've gotten TDs instead of FGs when starting at the 30 and 25.

Weeden played great. The INT was not his fault. The game plan was a little stagnant at times (at least we were doing some shotgun/pistol formations on definite pass plays).

I just was hoping to see a little more pizzazz near the end after the INT-followed-by-TD to just shut the game down with a first down. Disheartening we can't convert that to salt the game away.

I'm really liking Gordon. I still like little too but his drops are killing him. He blocks very very well for a receiver. I'm hoping the new coach comes in a brings a very good receivers coach in. I feel like if a coach can improve little and Gordon's routes and fix littles drops we will have a very nice 1-2

None of those stats (aside from probably yards) is above average, let alone "much better than". He's been good enough though.

Didn't see the game (was driving back to Chi town), but listened to the game on the radio...WLW announcers were giving Weeden a lot of credit. Sounds like he played a pretty good game.

Feels good to get that first win, that's for sure.

Weeden really did show some flashes...absolutely beautiful long ball to Gordon and probably an even better catch by him. Also, I have fucking ripped Sheldon Brown to pieces, but he was everywhere today....great game

The maiden voyage of our bus was rocky to start with.....but ended up having an amazing time and the Browns actually looking like a pro football team was the icing on the cake.

Average yards/gm is about 250.
Average comp % is about 62
And that is about the average TD/INT ratio.

So yes, you are right, the only thing "above average" is the yards.

The play action to Jordan Cameron's was ran perfectly. Nice throw and catch to set up that touchdown
