With Romney leading in the 6th district by 16 points, it was obvious that the skewed polls from last week were incorrect. This report is closer to the truth than what we were previously led to believe ......and the positive momentum from the debate should seal the deal.

If you're going to quote him, at least get the whole quote, OK?

He said last night that their polling since the debate is favoring Romney. He said his polling will likely show a 2 point lead for Romney by Sunday.

It's a postive occurence, that much is certian. Mittens has to sweep all 3 states to be in the ballgame.

I agree with you on that fish...


I've been saying that since Romney clinched the nomination. He had to win all three and even then it might be a struggle

It's a cakewalk with all 3.

And with the movement we are seeing (nevermind oversampling we've been talking about), other states clearly in Obama's corner are now coming into play so that just creates more paths to victory for Romney.

Romney is going to cakewalk in Ohio? Where people in the Auto industry hate him?

What Obama states are going to come into play?

New Mexico? Nope
Nevada? Nope
Michigan? Nope

Mitt Romney just lost one of his talking points. During the first debate he harped on the fact that the unemployment rate has been above 8% for 40 months. It's not any more. The September jobs report has come out and it's all good news for Obama. The economy added 114,000 jobs in September and the unemployment rate dropped to 7.8%. Additionally, the July and August statistics were revised, with the actual number of jobs added being 86,000 more than originally reported. Employment is now higher and unemployment lower than when Obama took office, a time when the economy was bleeding 600,000 jobs per month.
There is no joy in Boston today. While the debate has not been completely forgotten already, the new jobs data will dominate the news for several days and Obama will be saying: "We have now had 31 consecutive months of job growth and the stock market is up 60%." Romney's argument that Obama can't handle the economy becomes much weaker when the data shows it slowly growing, albeit not so fast as everyone would prefer.
Conservatives have reacted to these new numbers by simply denying them and suggesting that a 0.3% drop from 8.1% to 7.8% is inconceivable. During the months of joblessness above 8%, the accuracy of the Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers was never called into question, however.

Which people ..... the thousands of Delphi salaried workers who had their pensions stolen from them by obama, the auto dealers/workers who had their businesses stolen from them, or the millions of taxpayers who had their money stolen to prop up a failed business for the sake of buying union votes?

I didn't say those states were a cakewalk for Romney, I said his victory is if he wins them.

Millions of Americans saw on Wednesday that Obama is an empty suit that has no grasp on the economy and no ideas. I think Romney is going to get a lot of mileage out of his "trickle down govt" line.

He is not saying Ohio is going to be a cakewalk to win SMFH. He is saying if Romney wins all 3 mentioned states, it will be a cakewalk to win the election.

I realize this is hard for you to believe, but I supported the auto bailout as necessary. That doesn't mean the Obama administration doesn't deserve criticism for the way they trampled bankruptcy law and property rights (robbing from debt holders to pay off their union constituents).

And it was pretty much teed-up before Obama came to office. All of it was (TARP, etc..). Obama just had to sign his name. The idea that Obama rescued the economy is another great myth. What has his fingerprints all over it was the $800B porkulus, which was an absolute flop like pretty much everything in the economy Obama has touched.

No I didn't. I was responding to your claim that "he needs all 3 to win, and even then it may not be enough". I responded "it's a cakewalk [to win] with all 3".

You have a problem with reading comprehension, among other things.

Really?? Let's look at the math

With no toss-up states...the President leads 303-235(with him getting Ohio and Virginia)

If you take Ohio and Virginia away from him and President Obama still has 272 electoral votes

Does that explain how narrow Romneys path to win is??

Even today..I would much rather be President Obama than Gov. Romney

Romney's path only appears so narrow because of oversampling, and self-identification bias among "likely voters". Turn out won't remotely reflect the sampling in those polls. And that's all before the Wednesday disaster. States you're giving to Obama are going to now be in play as the real "gap" narrows.
