I ran over a chicken once. It did make it to the other side alive, just missing some feathers after tumbling down the road.

One of my neighbor's horses got out once and was hit by a car and decapitated on the highway. A friend of mine saw it on the road and said blood was shooting out like a fountain. Just gushing all over the road. Took awhile for the rain to wash that stain away.
