Gene Smith says starting in 2018 they want to play all 4 non-conference games against other BCS teams, and be top 50 teams. Sounds like TCU is just the start of some great match-ups Ohio State will be announcing over the next few years. Will be awesome.

Also, looks like starting next year they'll have at least 2 BCS teams on the non-conference schedule each year.

Why not start in 2017 since thats when they have 2 or more openings? http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/big-ten/ohio-state-buckeyes.php And good for them, and bad for the MAC. Question is, who will be the bucks coach for their bigger non con games in the future? And I wonder what teams will make up the b10 way down the road (new teams added/old teams leaving). And I wonder if the b10 will turn the corner or get worse by then.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty pumped to play Vanderbilt. Two great academic powerhouses going head to head on the gridiron will be fun to watch.

You've got some serious issues, my friend-I would suggest you pray for guidance to help you through this dark period in your life. God bless.

2014 they are also playing Navy in Baltimore. (I know cause I am already looking forward to it.)

I like the future schedules.
I would really hope they can schedule some more SEC and Pac-12 teams.

While I applaud the rise in rank of our non-conference schedules, the timing doesn't make sense. Why did this not happen when the BCS national championship game took strength of schedule more into account? With the new playoff system, this just seems like a guaranteed way to tripwire OSU's playoff chances moving forward. Again, love to see this, just questioning why this didn't happen sooner when a higher level of competition would have benefitted OSU more (then again, one could argue that this will prepare the Buckeyes for a playoff run better).

I wonder if the university will try to screw people over now, b/c of this. Well, screw them over more than they already do.

Wait, didn't President Gee accuse TCU of only playing the "Little Sisters of the Poor" just a few years ago? :p

Next years home schedule is awful. Only Wisconsin and Vandy are ones that would be possibly worth attending

I'm not convinced Penn State is as bad as they seemed at the beginning of this year.

I think that holds true for this season, but with McGloin and the rest of the seniors gone, there isn't a lot left--especially coming in. IMO, this season will be their best chance for a winning record for a few years.

looks like Vandy backed out of next year's opener with OSU today. Also backed out of a 2 game series with Northwestern.

Well color me disappointed. I was really looking forward to establish a rivalry between two premier academic universities.
