Eh, I try to not judge an opinion based upon the person delivering it. I think everyone can offer something to this world. And in this instance I side with SVF. There have been times before that I have agreed with Sleeper as well. It's part of keeping an open mind.

Which helps to make my point. If something isn't illegal then it's obviously not considered a huge issue in our society. Now we're venturing into personal morals. Do you think it would be fine to beat someone up just because you disagree with their personal sense of morality? To me that seems like a terrible standard.
The reason for a law and justice system is to try to have a sort of objective moral standard that all citizens are expected to live by.
Yes, the guys actions are terrible. But as a couple of you astutely pointed out, there isn't an obvious law against this. This whole situation sounds like something that the families need to take care of between themselves or maybe with the help of a 3rd neutral party.
