Yeah, because I'm going to make a special trip over there to do it... God, you're dense.

So, say what you mean. I understand you don't like it and neither do I, but don't be a lowlife about it.

He said "someone should..." Not "I'm going to..." Seems like he did say what he meant. He never said he was going to do it himself, just that he wouldn't feel bad if someone else did.

Fair enough. It's still a white trash thing to say and to applaud the notion of, however.

Maybe our jails and courts wouldn't be so full if a little bit of this justice actually took place. Wouldn't you think twice about doing this kind of crap if you knew the town people would take care you? I'm not talking old west or anything, but sometime "an eye for an eye" would really help some people.

It's a silly notion and you know it, but if you'd like to discuss it; I will.

I find it funny, especially coming from YOU, this "holier than thou" attitude. A

nd who said anything about "breaking kneecaps of those whose opinion differs from mine?" People are allowed to have their own opinions. You don't just screw with little handicapped kids.

Oh, and nice try masking the namecalling "WTL"...assuming "white trash loser."

How can she see her husband walking and imitating a girl with palsy, then say there was no offense intended?

^^^ What he said!

It blows my mind that people could be so shallow. If you have an issue parent to parent....that's FINE. You can have beef with one another all you want. But when you bring a poor 10 year old kid into the situation, who can not HELP that she has a handicap, that is just trashy. I know SVF is up in arms about "Old West Justice", but I remember a time not too long ago, where this situation would find WAYS of working itself out. I'd be willing to bet that family wouldn't like it if the shoe was on the other foot per say.

Also this occurred at a BUS STOP. Why has the school not stepped in and suspended the kid? Send a message to the family to stop. I mean the evidence is blatant and right there on video. Throw the kid out of school for 2 weeks, let the family deal with that headache.

Despite what is shown here, it is possible to disagree about something without resulting to vague insults and ultimately some juvenile name calling.

But as far as the topic goes.

Yes, the father is a complete ass. But I've always hated the JJ community's response and now the OC community's response of justice outside the law.

Why would you put your complete faith in a system that fails to deliver justice on a fairly regular basis? Note that I'm not suggesting anarchy, just that "the law will take care of them" is a flawed notion as well.

Agreed that it is a flawed system. But that's because humans are fundamentally flawed people (not perfect). But I'd rather put faith in a system developed over time with rules and processes to help ensure that the correct and fair result is reached more often then not than start advocating that people should just take justice into their own hands and deliver punishment as they see fit.
