Not sure if either party (OSU or UT/UGA) tried to reschedule. At least nothing reported in the sports news world that I remember.

And as far as the B1G/Pac12 schedule, I think it ended up just being too many logistical problems with the scheduling partly because the PAC12 already had a 9 game conference schedule. The B1G was staying at only 8 conference games to try to make it more feasible.

Ohio State offered a game to TCU in 2008 i believe and TCU turned it down. Good 2 game set for both parties.

Not to rehash this, but Gee never said TCU was a "little sister of the poor", he was referencing the schools they played.
