Beat ya both too it. I watched it a second time and and saw that it was probably not her spray that got the guys attention hence the edit. However, she was hoping along and being involved in a police situation (still something not smart).
I'm not one to defend cops all the time, but this was not entirely on the cop. You have a situation where you are obviously surrounded by people and there is the danger of everything escalating. Some liquid is thrown on the cops. You see a woman nearby who was a bit too close for comfort with a bottle...
You neutralize the threat.
I'm also just not one to rail on cops all the time.
It's situations like these where a crowd is starting to form and a lot of noise that are dangerous for cops. Things can escalate quickly.
