Eh... one of the last things I would think about doing is throwing ANYTHING at a cop. Not that I'm defending cops here, but I would not think about throwing anything at a cop if I didn't want some kind of trouble.

But is she even the one who threw the water?

Haha, wow. Nice investigation he did there before punching the first person he saw. She'll definitely win herself a nice tidy sum in a lawsuit.

She didn't throw the water.

Although if you look closely at her left hand, she may have a water bottle in it.

If you'll watch the video you'll notice she didn't throw water on him. She just happened to be the closest person to the group. Trying to rationalize this for the cop is, well, stupid.

Beat ya both too it. I watched it a second time and and saw that it was probably not her spray that got the guys attention hence the edit. However, she was hoping along and being involved in a police situation (still something not smart).

I'm not one to defend cops all the time, but this was not entirely on the cop. You have a situation where you are obviously surrounded by people and there is the danger of everything escalating. Some liquid is thrown on the cops. You see a woman nearby who was a bit too close for comfort with a bottle...

You neutralize the threat.

I'm also just not one to rail on cops all the time.

It's situations like these where a crowd is starting to form and a lot of noise that are dangerous for cops. Things can escalate quickly.
