Murray from Georgia has played very well this year. Kind of surprising after his performance last year

But he didn't seem to have that lead his team factor and carry his team. This year he's made great throws and has carried Georgia with his arm

I don't know. UGA was picked 3rd in the East. Not only did they make the SEC Title game, they almost beat LSU and they won 10 games including 10 in a row after starting 0-2...

He was also a Sophomore with 4 career starts going into the season. We'll see though. UGA has a brutal schedule coming up.

BTW, those dissing LSU, where is the hate for Texas-San Antonio of the WAC Conference. The WAC is an FBS league yet UTSA has 3 FCS teams and South Alabama (Sun Belt, 1st year) on the schedule.

Yes, kind of. Truth is, UTSA couldn't get any other FBS games and that is the reason for the schedule. Yet of course, LSU schedules Washington and 8 SEC games yet people want to attack their schedule. It's stupid. Scheduling in this current system is flawed. We all know it. I don't care who you are. If you can abuse the system and schedule 4 cupcakes and use the strength of your conference to carry you to a BCS bid, why not do it? That's what LSU is banking on...they don't need to schedule anyone OOC and if they go 7-1 in the SEC and win 4 easy OOC games, odds are they are in the SEC title game and playing for a shot at the national title.

It's the same as what teams do in college basketball. We all know the RPI is super flawed. However, we also know the dinosaurs on the NCAA committee still use it. There are teams out there who will schedule 10 out of league games, all against "mid-major, high-ranking RPI teams" who are all easily beatable but will finish with RPI's around 150 instead of the bottom feeders who are 250 or worse. The teams that do this (Tennessee and Duke are both 2 known schools who have hired someone to calculate the best way to manipulate RPI) generally have an inflated RPI even if they lose more games than others with similar ratings.

I bet against UK and of course, they have their best drive of the season against a very good defense...

Might have another Baylor/WVU style game here. Texas should score a ton as well.

I rarely watch LSU games... but two observations.

They don't look that great against Towson (Yes it is early.)

The stadium is half empty, which seems weird for a top 10 team that's been good the past decade.
