I found a new ad network called lijit and was approved to run ads on the site. Hopefully it'll earn enough to keep us going. Still hoping to get adsense back but this is promising.

The other networks I tried made pennies a day. This one is making more than that, so far.

I haven't seen an ad on a computer in 10 years. I have adblock.

I disable java scripting when I go to forums, so I don't care if you have thousands of ads.

I might add some code to detect ad blockers and disable access to the site. Yeah.

I go to a video site that will not show the videos if you have it up. Instead, it'll just show the image of the little kid flipping the bird that says "DISABLE ADBLOCK!"

Needless to say, it makes me that much more committed to never clicking on an ad there.
