Anyone think the T'Wolves could be a surprise team out West? Not conference-finals good, but enough to give some team fits in the first round? Sitting at 5-2 without Love or Rubio is certainly better than I expected them to be at this stage. Once they add those two to the mix (Love in early December, Rubio in mid-to-late December) they should be pretty dangerous. Not sure how they'll be over the next couple weeks after losing Budinger though.

Once Love gets healthy, yes.

I could see it. Haven't gotten to watch them play this year yet so I can't say for sure.

Anyone catch the triple OT game last night between Tor and Utah? Really enjoy watching Utah play this season and was surprised by Tor, esp DeRozan. He played extremely well. Everytime I've seen him play last season he seemed to be the new Vince Carter/Tracy McGrady. Volume garbage shooter with little other aspects to compliment.

Lets see the Wolves make the playoffs first, love the addition of Kilrelenko, that guy is a complete player and a winner, does all the little things. Derrick Williams has been a big time disappointment.

I never expected much from him. Undersized, without a true position and lacks elite athleticism. Not a recipe for success in the NBA. Same reason why Blackmon will never be worth the top 10 NFL draft selection.

Yeah he is a tweener but I thought he would at least be able to create mismatches on offense, hasn't happened.

He'd have to go against a SG to be a mismatch. I'm surprised by his lack of 3 pt shooting. He was a pretty good 3 pt shooter in college.

5-0 now. I'm fairly positive that they'll get ousted in the 1st round again but at least they're off to a great start. Amar'e will probably come back and mess everything up. LOL

The worst part is that Amare is next to impossible to trade. He's a really, really good player, but I wouldn't touch that contract.

Lakers Spurs isn't disappointing. Fantastic game thus far. Reminds me of the Lakers Suns games from 07~08 season? Those games that were great as well.

What a bone head play by Gasol. Kobe had a step on his defender on the back door cut.

Kemba with the game winning shot. I've been impressed with the Cats so far this year. Obviously talent disparity still but they are playing hard, especially on the defensive end. Lots of blocked shots and steals so far. They really need an impact player on offense. I was at the game yesterday and the Wizards were daring MKG to shoot. They need to hire a coach like the Cavs had for LBJ in Chris Jent. Someone that can teach fundamentals and break down his jumper. The rest of his game is fine but MKG won't reach that all-star caliber till he can shoot.

He was fairly useless in tonight's win after having 3 pretty good games in a row.

I realize it sounds like I was being harsh on him, I wasn't trying because so far I think he's playing real well. MKG is showing great hustle on D, getting rebounds and running the floor. But that's how he's getting points. I didn't watch him much at Kentucky so I didn't see that shooting hitch till recent. I just hope he can overcome it and reach his potential because he could become a top SF in the league behind Lebron and Kevin Durant. I'm thinking MKG could be a better version of Andre Iguodala if he can get a consistent jumper.
