Brooklyn's always going to be a free agent destination so I don't ever see Boston picking in the lottery w/ the Nets' picks.

If D. Rose plays, I think Chicago is better. That's a big if.robj55;1464683 wrote:Does Brooklyn become the 2nd best team in the East next year?
Pacers are also still going to be very, very good.

Yup.
New coach, no chemistry and basically a new roster

Knicks are a question mark still to me, Amare and Melo don't gel, and they are old. Indy should be great. Love Isiah Cannan pick, he is a baller.Hb31187;1464685 wrote:they look good on paper again like they did this year, doubt they surpass NYK or Indy however

They're not that old at all, they gotta few older players like Tyson bit their core is late 20s which is fine. They don't really lose anything and gain another good.young guard in Timmy.robj55;1464688 wrote:Knicks are a question mark still to me, Amare and Melo don't gel, and they are old. And Indy will be a force this year imo

I like the Hardaway pick but a lot of there rotational guys were up there. JKidd, Prigioni, KMart, Kurt Thomas when he was playing, Sheed. I feel like they need an identity, what type of team are they really? They are a contested jump shooting team.Hb31187;1464694 wrote:They're not that old at all, they gotta few older players like Tyson bit their core is late 20s which is fine. Jkidd didn't do much at all. Kurt Thomas and Sheed didn't play anyways lol.robj55;1464704 wrote:I like the Hardaway pick but a lot of there rotational guys were up there. They got Felton, Shump, Hardaway, Pablo, Novak and JR in the backcourt. Melo,Copeland,Amare,Kmart, Chandler for the most part up front. Really ths only old players are Pablo and Kmart both of which didn't show any signs of slowing down. They'll finish top 3 in the east I'd bet

I think they have championship aspirations though and they don't have an identity, that's the issue here. I'm sure they will get younger and attempt to bolster the roster.Hb31187;1464715 wrote:Jkidd didn't do much at all. Kurt Thomas and Sheed didn't play anyways lol.

Simmons said it best, Memphis with another wing who can't shoot.

I think Brooklyn, Miami, Chicago and Indy are all better than NY right now.

Until God decides Rose is 110% then I would remove Chicago from that list. I think Brooklyn definitely moves ahead of them with this trade, though.robj55;1464721 wrote:I think Brooklyn, Miami, Chicago and Indy are all better than NY right now.

Atleast Sully will get a chance to shine next year. Jeff Green should have a monster year as well.
