As a cleveland fan, I got to see first hand for 7 yrs what a beast LBJ in the 4th quarter is. I suppose if you get all of your talking points from Skip Bayless on BSPN you end up spewing BS like pick6.

Never said you weren't a Cavs fan. Just saying that I am a cleveland cav and saw LBJ dominate the 4th Quarter. Didn't mean to get your panties in a bunch little guy. lolfail

Now cue Pick6 saying I'm arguing with myself and he doesn't care.

His go to cop out fail.

Back on topic. Spurs/Warriors series is destined for 7 games. I don't see either team losing at home for the last 3 games.

Great, finally talk some hoops and not get off topic by Skip bayless talking points.

I think it's going to go 7 as well, which is great for an NBA fan. Highly entertaining games, and I really dont care who wins. Though I do think Memphis V GSW would make the most fun Western Conference Championship game.

I want GSW, but the biggest thing I want is Memphis. I think they are the only team who can give Miami a series. I dont want to see Miami run away with it and while I think they will win, Memphis is probably the only team who can get 2 games off of them.

I agree, plus Bosh always plays like a btich with a legit C guarding him (Marc Gasol). Would be the best finals series by far.

Hopefully if that is indeed the match up, Wade's knee is an issue. Then it will be LBJ vs the Grizz and we get to watch LBJ QQ.

I want to see Heat/Grizz too. I think it will be the best matchup, but I still don't see them one anyone else taking 4 of 7 from Miami.

Random thought, but Lance Stephenson is one of the bigger steals in the NBA Draft recently. Picked in the 2nd RD, 40th overall, by the Pacers in 2010.

A lot of it has to do with the team web of support and coaching he's received.

The whole organization is impressive. Since the brawl, the Pacers have stayed afloat without being terrible (which is typically suicide in the NBA). In their "rebuild" they havent drafted higher then 10th (Paul George). Really solid drafting and trades to build a high character team who is a game away from the ECF.

I think they basically are one of those teams stuck in limbo. I don't see them ever being a serious title threat with this roster. A slightly better version of what the Hawks were the past 4 years. Good enough to win 50, not good enough to win it all.

Thats a true point, but at the same time...I see no one who is a true threat to Miami outside of OKC when healthy.

I think the Pacers are title contenders a few years ago. But times have changed. They are still a star away. They cant really get one either.

Then again, they are ALL under 27 yrs old (except David West...and Granger if he counts). So who knows. If you can get to the ECF with a roster like this, who knows what a few more years could do. If Paul George can become a top 10 player in the league and Granger can come back and be a sidekick they might have something.

Is it just me or has Boris Diaw gained about 50 lbs since he came into the league?

Trailblazers thought the same. Vets win in the playoffs.

BTW was watching the game at Eddie George's on campus tonight and ended up sitting next to Magic Johnson. Got to chat with him awhile and got a picture with him.

Are you referring to the Trailblazers team that choked against the Lakers? They had some vets on that team, in fact one is a HOFer.

My point was if they keep them together. They will grow at the same pace and become vets together, while still remaining in their prime. All they need is Paul George to become a superstar.

I agree, to an extent. He does everything. Scores, rebounds, passes and defends. But he doesnt do it consistently (at least the scoring part).

It depends on your definition of superstar I guess. Is it the top 5? Top 10? Just an All-Star?

Id put George right there around 10-15 off the top of my head, without going in depth.

Well right now he's a star, with superstar potential because he can do everything, like you said. Just needs to take it to another level.
