Dahntay Jones getting death threats on Twitter for "hurting" Kobe. Serious business, basketball is.

Well, a lot of times, elite superstars do look at defense as an optional thing, so I can understand why Kobe'd think that someone defending his shot would be "dirty".

Please, he was just trying to defend the ball and avoid Kobe's leg kicking out. Maybe if Kobe stopped kicking out his right leg every shot he'd be able to count on landing on two feet instead of one.

I'm guessing he's a Patrick Henry high school fan/student/parent. Same logo as New England I believe.

Add in a SEC football fan, Yankees fan, and Duke basketball fan; sounds like a real winner.

I didn't know that. Good point though if true. Just seems weird that a school would use the "Flying Elvii" logo.

But as far as being a Lakers fan and being realistic about this "incident," he gets reps.

Jones stepped under him, but it isn't a dirty play or even really a foul.

But to say it was basically Kobe's fault for the injury is laughable.

Lakers are saying out indefinitely. He'll be in the lineup come Monday I bet. I doubt he plays Friday(next game) but Monday he'll play.

Hell he could play Sunday.

Wouldn't be the first time Kobe chucked his way out of a game and tried to blame it on something on than himself.

I wasn't saying it was Kobe's fault, I was saying that maybe if he kicked that bad habit of kicking out his right leg every time he shoots he could have prevented this as he would be more balanced when coming down and have two feet to land on instead of one.

Kobe didn't seem mad when Jones played the same defense against him on the 3 Kobe made the prior possession. He did the same thing, didn't jump, just walked into him with arm up. Odd.

For what it's worth, not much I know, but the league came out and said a foul should have been called last night on Jones.

Funny since the rule actually states kobe should have been called for a foul for kicking his leg out.

And kobe is playing tonight. They'll make him a super hero about it when it's more paul pierce then anything. No way I believed he'd miss games. He walked off the floor and out of the arena just fine.

I mean people walk off the floor with torn ACL's.

It was a nasty sprain. I figured he'd be out til the first of the week.
