They do actual measures at the draft camp. He was measured at 6'8" 245.

But 30ish pounds later and 10 years later, yeah he looked skinny.

They don't overestimate 40lbs.

Crazy. He was pretty scrawny his rookie year and blew up after that. I always thought he was roiding, even when he was a Cav.

I mean I would almost guarantee he never saw the weight room at ASVSM. So once he got on an NBA roster and workout routine, he just ballooned.

Was he roiding? No idea. Would it surprise me? Not at all.

Yeah; I don't know if he was, but it wouldn't surprise me. He's just a freak of an athlete.

I mean, hs is obviously bigger now. But he is 10 years older. Not many HS kids are this big and built...

Yeah. I would just say it's the difference between being 18 yeah old young man and now being a 28 year old man.

It's been documented that LeBron's off season workout regimen is insane.

My personal opinion is he isn't. I just put him in the naturally gifted physical freak category....just like Pryor. But I'm with most that say they wouldn't be surprised if he was on something. There are so many advanced substances to help an athlete these days (legal and illegal), so who knows.

My feelings as well. Nothing would blow my mind anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a bunch of people in the NBA on PED's of some sort. They have one of the weakest and least effective testing policies of any major professional sports league.

And while LeBron may be one such person, I don't think he got unnaturally big after high school. The guy was pretty big (muscle wise) for a high school kid to begin with. There wasn't any abnormal progression in his frame that I recalled from season to season.

But once again, I'm not saying he's clean. I just wouldn't base any speculation on before and after photos from his high school years to 10 years later. Most athletes tend to put on a lot of muscle after high school. College and professional sports emphasize muscle building much more than high school athletics which is more about building the appropriate tools and developing talent.

Unrelated news: Royce White has been ejected in two of his six D-League games so far. He drove 34 hours to his game yesterday, only to play 25 minutes and rack up 5 fouls/2 technicals. Sweet pick, Houston.

Anyone who has taken different prohormones or even illegal steroids, there's a lot more to it than just getting bigger and stronger. Enhancements to performance and overall function can be profound.

Royce White is a fucking clown.

I've also heard he will be on a Dr. Phil episode. I'm sure that will be great.

I'm not sure if this was in response to my post. But I agree.

Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if LeBron or any NBA player used some form of PED. But I wouldn't base an argument for why he did on the difference in size between his HS physique and his physique 10 years later.

However, I'm also a little less skeptical about LeBron and any player who does participate in the Olympics just because there is some more strict testing there (but far from perfect as they only test in time periods during the Olympics).

Also, here is a little article published today on ESPN regarding testing and testosterone.

I might actually break my McDonald's ban if this happens. Just to see him suffer a complete breakdown the first time he deals with a customer complaint. I mean, I won't eat their shit, but I'll loiter around the place until it happens. Shouldn't be a long wait.

Didnt Lebron have to have bone spurs removed from his jaw a few years ago? Arent bone spurs a sign of HGH? Wouldnt surprise me, but I cannot stand Incarcerated Bob. I tweeted him last night saying "Nothing will come of this, just like 95% of the other 'breaking news' you report."

Bone spurs can occur due to HGH use, but it's not like jaw bone spurs are an anomaly. People with TMJ will deal with t hem.

Cancer can also be correlated to chronic high levels of IGF-1. IGF-1 can be directly elevated due to HGH, whether it be endogenous or injected. It doesn't necessarily mean he was using HGH, even with a side effect.

Then again, HGH testing was almost non-existant and it has always been very difficult to detect. You can't simply look at levels, or even blood levels. My HGH levels last time I had them checked a month ago were off the charts. I've never used exogenous HGH in my life.
