That sucks. I think Gallinari is a dbag and a huge *****, but when he's on he's pretty good.

He does kinda come off as a cocky douche. But with his size and skill set and youth....if he was healthy hes a great weapon to have in the playoffs. He just cannot for the life of him stay healthy.

Melo is startin to heat up at the right time, 40+ in 3 straight games. Only player besides MJ and Bron to do it in the last 20 seasons

Jr Smith was on fire again last night too, having his best season yet. IMO he should get the nod for 6th man of the year easily.

Yeah, not that I think the Knicks would beat the Heat in a best of 7 series but I think NY can make a run in the playoffs this year. ECF would definitely be progress. Melo is just on another level right now.

Yeah Melo is playing incredible. When hes shootin like this, especially from 3....aside from not letting him catch the ball, you cannot stop him.

Fools gold for playoffs though. Can't count on this type of shooting to beat pacers or the heat

Obviously the entire team isnt gonna keep shooting like they have. But the Knicks have been playing well all around down the stretch, and I see no reason why they couldnt make the ECF.

And as far as Melo goes, hes taking good shots in the flow of the offense. If hes on, good offense beats good defense so wouldnt really matter who theyre playing. Inevitably he will cool off though, which is expected because nobody keeps up shooting like this for that long of a stretch.

Doesnt really matter tho because Miami is gonna run away with the East....unfortunately

I thought Kobe had a run a couple seasons ago of 40 and 50 point games.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_40-plus_point_games_by_Kobe_Bryant looks like he has probably done it multiple times. Last time was on Jan 10,11,13,14 of 2012. How espn could miss this is pretty funny. Its fucking Kobe.

Was on SC last night, one of the NBA analysts they talk to in one of the segments. With SC's track record doesnt really surprise me too much. But now that you brought up that streak Kobe had, I do remember it as well

Wish the playoffs would start already. This last part of the season is pretty boring especially with most of the races aside from the 8 seeds wrapped up

Since we're momentarily bitching about ESPN, their breaking news texts have been ridiculous this weekend. I bet I've received at least 20 over the past three days. Any time Carmelo has taken a shit lately, they've texted me. The worst was last night when they sent them out notifying the halftime and final scores of the games, as if anyone who was interested wasn't already watching anyways.

The worst I ever received was a notification that NBA players, coaches and owners (during the lock out) were allowed to attend Kim Kardashian and Humphrie's wedding. SMH.

Young guys put up some ridiculous numbers in the Bucks-Magic game last night.

Henson with 17, 25, and 7 blocks.
Tobias Harris with 30, 19, and 5 assists.
Vucevic with 30, 20, and 5 assists.

I liked Harris a lot coming out. One of my favorite players in the 2011 draft. Can't ever read too much into putting up numbers on bad teams, but I think he's going to be solid for a long time. Averaging about 17 and 9 since the Magic acquired him.

So Kobe is out, so does that mean when I turn on ESPN, I won't have to keep hearing about an 8th place team??????
