Last gen I bought 360 on launch day, Wii about 1 year after launch (later sold after it collected dust), then bought a PS3 about 2 years ago.

Looking forward to seeing what the new 360 and PS4 will be like...Price and features being equal, I will probably go with the next 360, assuming the released dates are pretty close.

Officially official. Ps4 is coming. Along with battlefield 4!! Controller looks sweet. A lot of the new features I'll never use though

Nevermind. It wasn't a real picture

Controller does look sweet. Like the closer together dpad and the dual shock looks like its smaller and will be easier to use

They also changed the angle of the L2 and R2 buttons, which is great.

I've heard $429 for the base version and $529 for the version with better storage.

Also the controller is pretty boss. I won't buy a PS4 or any "next gen console", but I do enjoy following the xbox/ps battle.

Agreed. They sound cool, but when I asked myself, "Is this something I'll ever see myself using?" the answer to most of those questions [if not all] was "No."

Some serious power in that thing. WOULD be great for a home entertainment center, except for anything other than gaming you have to deal with Sony's craptacular proprietary software.

I really regret not jailbreaking my PS3.

Will it connect to 5g wirless and whatever that new wireless tech is?

I bought a dual band and my ps3 won't even recognize the 5g band.

Right now I am leaning more towards getting an xbox, but that could change. I am less of a gamer and more into the media aspect.
