Obviously in a perfect world I would have right then, but I had to get back (poor planning I know). The soonest I can get her gutted is about 3 today. I'm having my wife bring a few bags of ice to throw on her.
My question is, will I be alright not dressing her for 7 hours after I shot her, or am I going to spoil the meat? Hoping for good news...

I always bring some rope too so I can tie the feet up to drag out of the woods. Where I hunt has crazy elevation change, took me 3hrs to get the last doe out although she was bigger.
