5:30 this morning (in Chicago) my roommate comes running into my room screaming that somebody is in our house.
Story: Their rooms are upstairs, me and my other roommates rooms are downstairs. Apparently we forgot to close one of the windows upstairs and two black guys broke in and walked in the two upstairs rooms.
Roommate #1 just randomly wakes up and opens his eyes to see a black guy standing at the edge of his bed. Roommate screams and the guy books it out of the room and out the back door, stole his iphone.
Roommate #2 was watching a movie on his laptop (at 5:30 in the morning, I don't really know why..), door slowly creeps open and there's a black guy standing there, with a taser in his hand. Says, "Hey homie." and zaps the taser. Calmly walks over to his desk and puts his iphone and macbook pro in a bag, and books it out the back door.
Cops said they've been seeing a lot of this in North side Chicago, as the South side gangs are getting to the point where they are having gang initiations and are telling new members to "hit up $x.xx in electronics and you're in." Both their wallets were sitting right next to their phones and computers, even a nice $400 watch...they just took the iphones and computer.
Cops said just be glad they said to get electronics, and not your lives.
Fucked up.
tl;dr-fuckin black guys robbed us. chicago's really starting to piss me off. our mayor sucks.
