The B1G literally might not have a top 25 team...even if they lose, I think MSU is deserving. It's strange that the conference who has represented and won more than anyone (outside of the SEC) in the BCS might not even be in the discussion before the 3rd week in September.

I can't completely disagree. But the sec is overrated too. Georgia struggling vs a nobody. Arkansas is a joke. South Carolina is NOT a top ten team. Tennessee was obviously very overrated. Then there is msu, ole miss, Kentucky, vandy. Those teams are downright awful.
I think college football this year is down with the exception of a very select number of teams.

I think he meant for the national title hunt. And obviously Ohio state can't play in one this year

Georgia is up 42-14 now. They aren't struggling. I think Bama, LSU, Georgia, USC, and Oregon might be the top 5.

I think what we are seeing is the non-AQ conferences have largely closed the gap.
We saw a few teams here and there, Boise, TCU, Utah, etc. But, now we are seeing it on a regular basis from many different schools in various conferences.

The SEC is still tops, but the bottom of the league (UK, Auburn) is a complete mess.
Meanwhile, the B1G is a joke. MSU and OSU are the best teams, and that is not saying much....

It was an exaggeration, I guess. However, are we really touting Michigan? Alabama might be very tough to beat, but they knocked Michigan around. Badly. The score didn't really do that justice.

I'm not even including Ohio State as they aren't eligible for anything other than a "paper title."

Both conferences are looking pretty shaky to start out. Bama seems to be the real deal (and maybe LSU), but outside of that, both the SEC and B1G has very little to really pound their chest about.

I mean do I think they have a top 10 team not probably not. But to say no team in the Top 25 is dumb.

Have you watched what Bama has done to everyone since they lost to LSU? They beat LSU ass all over the field. I really don't think many people believed Michigan would even challenge Bama.

The Big Ten has 3, 2 officially, MSU and Michigan in the 25.

But, both are top 15 if that. MSU looks awful.

Depends on which poll you use, they're both "official", I guess.

Yep, and I'll bet that Bama has at least a half dozen games closer than the game they played against Michigan. Western Kentucky already...

This says more about Michigan...because while Bama is very good, they WILL be challenged.

Georgia's 626 yards with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter really defines struggling. Haha...

I am loving this. Go Aggies!
And just like that it's 16-14 Wisconsin. The new QB has had nothing to do with it, but sometimes benching a lame duck is all that it takes.
