I don't think that would be a bad move, but I doubt it would happen. Tebow will get his shot before McElroy.

I think if they bench him for Teabough then they pretty much lost him.
As much as Teebow is a good guy and a tremendous role model, I dont think he is a very good QB. He has a spark that I think can help a team short term, but his % is just way too low to be a franchise QB to lead your team.

If they dont want Sanchez going fwd, then see what Tebow can do. He may give them a short term spark and win a game or two, but in the end he will lose more then he wins

Sanchez is clearly not the answer. It seems like Rex is willing to ride him until they are both out of a job, unfortunately. Tebow isn't the answer either which is why I want to see what they have with McElroy. He probably isn't worth a shit either but at this point is an unknown.

I don't think Rex has enough good will stored up to convince those in charge that he should be allowed to stick around to draft another QB and develop that which would be a minimum of 3-4 years. Rex has two very limited options with the situation he has this year. The first is to ride out Sanchez and hope things can turn around and then he can say he was right and things will continue to improve. The other is to say Sanchez just isn't who he thought he would be, give Tebow a shot and see if Tebow can pull off some of that magic/luck from last year.

McElroy has no shot in hell unless Sanchez and Tebow are both out of the equation either through injury or shitty play.

Gotcha. Thought you were referencing trying Teabone to see what he could give ya, missed it that you wanted to try McElroy.

This day and age in the NFL you need a QB who can chuck it.

Sanchez has had ample time. I dont know...are they hoping he will do an alex smith and finally show some greatness after years in the league? SMith got very, very fortunate that they stuck with him so long. I guess leadership saw he had so mandy diff OC in so many seasons.


Dont really know that McElroy guy.....I guess he just wants to sink or swim with sanchez instead of going to the unknown and pretty much sealing his fate.
