I would except I have to have college football on Saturdays. And so far I have not found a good, consistent way to do that.OSH;1270432 wrote:Firstly, GO PACK GO!
Secondly, screw cable. Watch everything on Hulu+, Netflix, or free live streaming. All you have to do is get a cable to hook a computer up to your tv and you got it all. Simple and easy.

Not a fan of them. Always having problems with the HD channels in the main room. Also used to get HD locals in my bedroom at the old house, and now do not get them at the new place.
Pretty sure Time Warner never had it but Insight did up until a month ago.

Right. Insight always had full NFL network. TW bought Insight, so former Insight customer still had NFLN until the contract was set to expire and TW told NFLN to piss off.wildcats20;1270571 wrote:Pretty sure Time Warner never had it but Insight did up until a month ago.

I stream every single sporting event...live and free. That's how it should be.WebFire;1270561 wrote:I would except I have to have college football on Saturdays. And so far I have not found a good, consistent way to do that.

How do you stream college football live? That's always been the one thing you couldn't really do.OSH;1270774 wrote:I stream every single sporting event...live and free. That's how it should be.

You only had the NFL network is you were an insight customer. Insight was bought by time Warner and therefore we had the channel until the contract expired and since it's owned by twc they didn't renew even though NFL network offered them the same exact deal as the one that had expired. TWC never had the NFL network but Insight had it before they were owned by twc and got to keep it until it expired

Not the way I prefer. For one, they never seem completely reliable. Second, don't need porn pages popping up while trying to do it.

I have yet to have a problem with it being reliable. I watch soccer, football, basketball, and UFC on it all the time. Even mix in the occasional WWE event when I'm bored.WebFire;1271140 wrote:Not the way I prefer. For one, they never seem completely reliable. Get an ad-blocker and you have no problems. I have always used an ad-blocker, so whenever anyone complains about ads, I don't get it because I never know or see them for years and years.

I have Chrome with ABP. They weren't pop ups though, they opened in a new window.OSH;1271195 wrote:I have yet to have a problem with it being reliable. I watch soccer, football, basketball, and UFC on it all the time. Even mix in the occasional WWE event when I'm bored.

Honestly, I won't make the switch until there is an actual service that provides live college football. I don't want to find random streams on the web and hope I can find good ones each week. I used one for the Bears/Packer game and was stuck with one that had an ad stuck in the middle of the screen. Luckily it was transparent enough I could see what was going on.

I have Chrome with ABP and AB. I never have any problems with any ads or any other windows opening. Must be my luck then. Best of luck to ya in your cable choice. As for me and the wifey, we'll continue watching for free.

I'm glad it works for you. I honestly got multiple sex related windows open after going to the page. I just trust an actual service than I do random websites that are mostly illegal anyway.

The Warner Bros started in Youngstown. Other than that, they suck.

I just ordered but have to talk to my wife.... Looks like I'll switch from Twc to direct tv but I had to go with Choice Ultimate to get Sprout Kids for my 2 little ones.
Those that have direct tv, how do you like it, How often do u lose service during storms?

When I had DTV, it went out pretty easily with any storm. Just rain would do it. Also any moderate amount of snow and any ice would take out signal until I brushed off the dish.

I haven't had any issues with losing service, but also haven't had it for a month yet or experienced any bad storms when I was home watching TV. O also get a few hd channels that i didn't have with tw. So far I'm happy with it.

Case in point. Firstrowsports Michigan feed is choppy. Not just me. Multiple people complaining about it on a Michigan live blog.
No thanks.
